And to say they don't defend is a stretch. Both Pep and Klopp's systems utilize high intensity pressing and both Salah and KDB play a key role in that system. Even before Salah came to Liverpool he has shown high workrate and commitment to defending at Roma and Fiorentina.

from what i see, salah indeed not good enough that time as he can't dribble through EPL defence n can't shoot well.

for kdb case, that is mou n board stupidity for didn't give chance and sell instead of loaning. when he played i can see that he is better than oscar. not afraid to do long shot.

To be fair, it was a loan at first to Fiorentina with option to buy but Salah did not want to return there and wanted to go to Roma instead. So he was once again loaned to Roma and again with option to buy which Roma eventually activated.

the fact is you can’t keep one too many talents on the bench for long time...for sure they want out

courtois is different case in my opinion

he was damn good since he joined until last year (even 2015/2016 he is still good eventhough our defend problem)

but this season when he start talking about contract/want to go madrid/criticize management, his performance was below par

it seems like he just do not have heart to play for us anymore

remember why fans love torres eventhough he is not performing? because we can see that he is trying so hard to improve himself n not bitching about the club. courtois is not the same
