I just ordered a Rose Gold A1 phone from G Store at Lazada and it has been processing since Thursday...

What's worse is that the phone isn't listed under the seller anymore and I can't cancel it because my order is processed. doh.gif

Should be fine. I got mine from them too. You can live chat ask tracking no. Mine took about 5 days to receive by gdex provided not over the weekend.

I suspect I bought a lemon. My phone fares worse in gaming compared to previous Huawei. Unifi connection sucks when I game. I don't think it's the wifi problem. Has anyone encountered this?

If you need to buy from a physical store then DirectD is having a CNY sale now with the Mi A1 going for RM888.

Indeed, very hard to find a solid case. high end case makers only make case for flagship phones.

Xiaomi Deletes “Android One vs MIUI” Twitter Poll After Losing

Social media is, at best, a dangerous place to attempt to show up the competition. Something that Xiaomi has apparently learnt after asking its fans to vote on a poll comparing the Android One operating system with its own MIUI reskin.

QUOTE
The Twitter poll was likely directed at the Mi A1, Xiaomi’s first Android One based smartphone. Launched back in September 2017, the phone has proven to be especially popular. Mostly being a solid low cost smartphone that also features a pure Android experience; something that Google intended when it rolled out the operating system.

We presume that Xiaomi’s social media manager was hoping that the legion of Xiaomi users would flock to the poll and guarantee an overwhelming victory for MIUI. A move that backfired as the voting period ended with 57% of respondents favouring Android One.

It’s difficult to say why the poll was deleted, seeing as Xiaomi supports both forms of the operating system right now.

Admittedly, putting the poll on Twitter may have skewed the results in favour of a vanilla Android experience. Considering that Xiaomi’s largest market – China – doesn’t even have access to the micro-blogging platform. We expect that things might be different if the question was asked on Weibo.

Which operating system is better?

Android One 57% MIUI 43%
