Even on DSLR I also shoot jpeg only, RAW is overkill unless you are professional photographer.

No issue on downloading app in playstore. sometime wait i think because of my data plan. Digi Free 1gb data per day
But wheen it start, very fast update all google apps

ok. mine data is huge but download still pending and sometime when charging its cannot download apps. maybe have to reset to stock back.

any way to upgrade camera quality or camera apps?

The low light condition really bad for this camera...

It need string skill and steady hand to shoot good photo in low light.. LOL

Yeah was really frustrating not being able to use Waze and stuff. Thankfully it's Alrite now after Oreo. U face similar issues?

Google claimed the new update Android Oreo 8.0 provide fast charging. but i havent tried with any QC3.0 charger. only use macbook pro charger which is quite fast as well haha

i'm still waiting for Xiaomi to enable EIS. nothing can be done under low light condition.

So far, it didn't have fast charging function. Normal charge with original cable & charger (comes with phone package) around 1 hr 45 minutes from 2% to nearly full.

Just updated to oreo. My wife instagram app dont have story highlight even for latest version.

Any of you guys encountered similar issue? Tried google. Cant find one. Help me guys.

Yes, it totally safe to update to Oreo. So far, never heard Mi A1 burned or explode like Samsung Galaxy Note 7 after update. I never face any issue with Facebook or Instagram account coz i doesn't have these account/applications in my phone.
May I know which issue/problems did you refer?
