I thought they can get it done by same day?

For my experience, Apple is not changing your battery, they are giving you a refurbished iphone x.

If warranty expired? I don't think they give refurbished phone right?

already said warranty expired. self kau tim. change battery only. but battery depends on stock availability.

I called the Mines and he asked me to go tomorrow early to try luck, he didnt mention about putting phones there, i guess there doesnt accept.

Maybe takut kena trolled...better you go an show face, all last minute want to change batt. Told my wife eons ago to go change, summore work near Sunway Pyramid...now kelam kabut.

So Sunway accept keeping phones then is okay, tomorrow morning i go mines try, if cant then leave it to sunway.

Sunway 7 days...it's an authorised Switch/Apple repair shop. Should be ok as they still charge RM121.

appointment at Northpoint 1pm today. reach around 11am+ and asked whether can send in earlier or not. He said better come back 12.30pm+ even though no crowd there at all. I direct asked stock availability for iP6s+, was told battery no stock already.

My unit warranty expired this month 19th, so now only able to set appointment to visit and try luck. Seems will have to use it with battery health at 86% now.

Most place no battery stock already...

okay so today went to Switch Mines withouT appointment, was told that 7+ got no stock , and there was a notice saying that 6/6s/7/7+ got low inventory.

the person gave me ph. number of Ekocheras to call , also no stock.

honestly, everytime i go to all these stores no one ask me about appointment, which i only have a 31/12 one@MachinesCurve.

i don’t even think they have enough stocks for those who have made an appointment. walk-in no need to say already but then again it is fair since Apple have given the whole year of 2018 for users to send in.

...and yet everyone waits for the last week of 2018, hahaha...

Well this is what happens when people do everything last minute...

I saw machine North Point keeping very few stock, like each phone model less than 5 or 10 battery for it.

Those who going last minute is just trying out their luck.

appointments are completely useless 😂 , fren made an appointment last week went to machines but told them they needed a reservation instead for the battery 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Here’s the tip for all the procrastinators like me: go to Thunder , pay extra 29RM and get dem changed next week most likely after 2018/when the batteries arrive. (see pic below)
