At how many percent battery capacity that we’ll start to experience obvious difference? Below 80%?
*
Machine staff advise me to replace battery when it falls below 85%, which I will do by the end of this year.

Think the battery replacement programme is open regardless where the unit come from... by the way, when u are going to sg?
*
Yes it can be done. I replaced my sg unit in machines malaysia.

As for the battery is swollen, the only way forward is to replace your phone. They couldn’t replace the battery due to existing protocols.

Apple Store in Singapore offers same day battery replacement also for walk-in?
*
I went to A-Labs at Orchard once during weekdays. Same day battery replacement is possible if you make appointment via online. However the centre is packed despite it being weekdays. Can't imagine how it will be during the weekends.

For those who replaced battery and the shop insist to reformat the phone, do you know why they want to do so?

no format required...that is great !
*
As many users have reported, not every branch will have such practise. Many would still require the phone to be formatted

is the service center in KLCC required to make reservation to change battery?
if yes then choose for this topic? iPhone 6s Program for Unexpected Shutdown Issues ?
can done on same day?
*
Yes required to make reservation. Remember to backup your phone before going for the service appointment.

I think I chose Battery as topic, can't really remember lol. Can be done in same day if for battery replacement.

Just came back from Machines, so my battery was bloated. Only option they give is pay RM199 for a new iPhone 6S.
Not bad I guess...
*
Good deal. Not sure if it is new or refurb unit?

Well assuming it is a new phone la lol. But from what i've read, Apple's refurbished sets are usually better than newer units since they go through more stringent tests and most of the internals are new.
lol sadly my old model is only a rose gold 16gb.
But weirdly the invoice he typed in the model as grey 64gb  sweat.gif
Hopefully they replace the phone according to his error  whistling.gif
*
Hahahahah that is a super good error rclxms.gif

Hello there...

Which apple authorized services centre you’ve changed the battery? Seems most of them remove the Tempered glass before hand...
*
If the tempered glass just cover your phone screen, is there any reason to remove it?

RM200... That is quite unscrupulous... I mean you would expect that from a small phone shop in Lowyat or Digital Mall, but from Machines... Wow...
*
Machines stuff are expensive. Just look at how much they charge for a phone casing while you can get it at a much cheaper price online for the same item

is that normal?..i sent my 6s plus today also to machines then suddenly they say battery bloated so can not just replace the battery but whole phone for rm 199...so any idea if this is a recall or what? because at the same time some other customer with 6s also have the same issue cannot replace the battery  to change the phone too..and furthermore, the technician says the replacement unit will come from singapore
*
Yeah I faced the same issue too, they gave me a refurbished unit though, although they claimed that it is a 'new' unit, I looked up the IMEI number and found that it is actually not.
