QUOTE(jdgobio @ Jan 22 2018, 10:18 AM) The 60" UA6800X was sold for RM4799 at the just ended Renovation Expo at KL Convention Centre. The non-Android version was RM4250. Both came with 5 years warranty. The PQ was noticeably better compared to the 630X, but not sure how it compares with other brands models. Price is quite good IMO. Looking forward to the next promotion for the 60” at Rm4799On the size, personally, I prefer to go for 65" since its the biggest you can go without getting into crazy price category. 60" is much smaller than 65" in terms of viewing area and will not be a proper upgrade for me. But it may make sense for others because the price point is quite good. Also saw 2 new Toshiba models which looked good too but can't remember the model numbers. . 🤞 |

QUOTE(jdgobio @ Jan 25 2018, 10:07 AM) Interesting insight. How about the Sonu against the Sharp 6800X? Don't have to wait for the next promotion. You should be able to get that price and maybe even lesser at big electrical shops with the extended warranty as well. Can try SS2 or USJ shops. Would be great if you can share with me that place. So far when I asked for the price of 4799, the response is no way that price or it is definitely not this model. |

One feature I like about the 6800 vs 6300 is that it can continue to play the screen you are watching while browsing for other selection. Apart from that, it is clearer and has better sound quality.
The SAs has advised to download additional apps like terrarium and kodi to powerup the contents. Is there a forum for apps review for android or sharp? Need to look for sport channels too since World Cup is coming. Thinking of pulling the trigger soon at 5299. |

QUOTE(jdgobio @ Feb 1 2018, 07:28 PM) The accountant from ESH or the owner told you that? Or was it the salesman? Can trust the salesman? Most of them don't even know about the products they sell. About warranties and how that works, salesmen will not know that. Yeah Man. The way the salesman demonstrated the 6800x made it look as if it is a lousy picture and sound quality led tv. If not because of what you guys have said, I wouldn’t have walked away. |

Anyone has issue connecting through the Ethernet cable. I can’t connect via cable to internet and can only do it via WiFi which I understand is slower. Any configuration required on the network settings for Ethernet cable plug in?

I have the following issues with my TV purchased in February 2018:
- the voice search button on the remote control and also the voice search function could not receive any voice command despite prompting me for instruction. - my Logitech mouse and keyboard will require the usb driver to be reinserted to a different USB port to reactivate it. Anyone has the same issues or could help. Thanks |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Mar 31 2018, 03:59 PM) The remote for voice search.... has it been paired with tv? You are right. Paired the remote to tv again and the voice function is working again.Mouse, keyboard... such peripherals surely need the receiver piece to go into a tv usb port to work. Receiver driver is in the tv USB port but the mouse and keyboard will stop working after the tv is turned off and on again. The driver will have to be moved to another tv port to get the mouse/keyboard activated again. The driver works on a laptop USB port and battery level of mouse and keyboard is strong. Any idea? |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 1 2018, 01:15 AM) sorry, cant help... need some other user to comment. Brought in the mouse and keyboard to shop to test on their similar tv model- Negative. Waiting for them to try and help claim replacement from sharp, if possible. that is strange... perhaps there is some initialization needed? i m using a another airmouse on ue630x, no such issue. Bought an air mouse, it is actually better and more convenient than existing remote controller and mouse/keyboard. Not sure why they have removed the cursor pointer from the remote control for this model. Btw, my old external speaker hooked on to the tv also went kaput. Not sure if the tv’s output is causing all these external hardware to kaput or merely time up for my old reliable Sony speaker. Let’s see if my air mouse driver last.
