I heard from tbm sales that sharp tv processors best work for 50 inch tv. 60 and 70 inch picture are not as good as 50. Any truth of that?

Is a discontinued model. Not many stock left on the market. Yet many people looking for it

yep, salesmen may say that to nudge u to buy other brands for commission reasons.

having used/observed several sharp sizes and models, i will say not true.

they are just diff.. e.g...

ue630x series give excellent overall picture quality but can't do HDR well.

ua6800x series can do HDR, give deeper colors and wider contrast, more control/variations but picture not as crisp as ue630x.

ah1x, al1x, ax1x... i can't and won't comment as i have not used them.


a tv is a slave to the source and player.. u need to get these right too.

if yr play a good source with a good player, a good tv will give u excellent results.

there are other factors beside "picture quality" - how "smart", i.e. androidtv or not, durability, service support.


tvs's are getting cheaper... 10 years ago, we pay rm5-6k for a 42" lcd tv.

today, with weaker rm, we pay only rm3-3.5k for 60" 4k HDR led tv.

Just bought a 50 al1x from tbm... They called it "ali" probably because of al1, they displayed 2329, i pointed out their website is just 2299, so they manage to sell me with tat price... 5% fave pay discount too.. and petronas 100 reload card (registration and 1st come 1st serve). Wana ask, can i get those gyro remote + keyboard, plug to 1 of the usb port... Will it work? This bluetooth able to output to headphone and sound bar

Sharp sent their technician today. they replaced brand new unit for me. unfortunately the new unit is faulty and cant be powered on.
So they brought it back..Tomorrow will be getting me another new unit.

Nice, always good to know that manufacturers will stand by their warranty and offer 1-1 exchange.

Guys, need your opion...which is better 4TC60AL1X or UA6800X...a bit confuse..the sales guy said i should go for 4TC60AL1X...because latest model..

Many sales agent can’t confirm this when I ask them. They keep telling sharp don’t have this features.

no display unit...just using imigination...

but yr concern is valid.
previous models cannot BT out, can only do in.
other users can reconfirm.

maybe u can do the rest a favor, confirm if yr alx1 can do bluetooth out to headphones or soundbar?

normally, u will get a newer model.
but what about other things like price and warranty?

i will not buy a tv w/o looking at some videos side by side with other models and playing with the settings a bit.
it is unlikely someone has and use both ua6800x and al1x to comment accurately.
picture quality/differences, u have to visit a shop to watch them side by side.
specs and features, they are very similar.
read back a few pages, many comments been made.

i just received my sharp UA68000X guys, but something wrong. need your guys help..during initial setup on the last setup...my screen goes blank... i try to push all the remote button.. all not function, but when i push volume up and down got volume display...why aa? already off tv...then on still no picture blank..no menu?

hahaha...help me lor..is it i dont connect any astro or tv box?

Have u paired the remote with tv?

Done..hahaha..why..is it because no internet....push all button including home..all cannot..the only button is volume up and down haove respond..or is it i need to wait a bit longer?

blank screen is normal, u press the home button to get to home UI.

if u hv no internet, buttons for netflix, youtube, and internet related will not work.

but the rest for settings,volume, channels should work.

if u had bought online, nobody set up for u, better call the seller or sharp service for help.

there is a set up procedure if new out of box.

My 40" Sharp LCD TV, i think 6 or 7 years old at least....suddenly got horizontal crack on the screen.

Now shopping for cheap 50" to 55" TV...Lazada got sales tomorrow. Already add to cart get ready to check out. lol.

Hmm...can buy cheap Hisense TV? I am not fussy.
