To proceed for apple care, it would request u to select country from drop down list. Unfortunately, Malaysia is not included. Nearest was SG.

I noticed in malaysia, even we didnt get offered for applecare, we still have option such as machines and switch protection plan.

But then again, in malaysia as long its original apple then settle.
Overseas, they would buy those protection plan to protect devices for no matter the circumstances.

I guess it depends to individual preferences on how they care for device in term of protection plan

it was kind of a mistake getting the 256 coz my wife probably use like 20gb a year and i probably use 30-40 a year + i got the habit doing backup so 64 is kinda overkill for me already...since i cant change the first 256 so the 2nd one i went with the 64 without even thinking

The camera option all choose the most high definition one. Take 4k videos~ Download many apps for kid to play. But it won't fully utilized too though.
