Background App Refresh all ON to the max...

It's time to manage ur Background App Refresh Turn off whatever you don't want it to refresh.

No need to manage, just toggle to OFF ...

All off? Or only unwanted apps. xD

Got a new replacement phone.

Off only those apps you think you don't want it to run in the background. Example if you Off Whatsapp, then you won't receive notification when someone message you. Message only comes in when you open the app because it doesn't run in background.

No lah, just tried. Kill every app, lock my ip, ask my wife to WA & still receive the notification in lock screen..

moral of the story, dont buy iphone at launching for the next couple of years. We have lazada. Im expecting next launch will be the same month like previous and we might come across 12/12 sale with RM300 voucher. Forget about machine, online store, or singapore. U only lose from the first adopter about 1 -2 months only but u gain more from the heavily discounted price.

Or buy telco set if the plan fits your needs.

I paid 4535 cash for my 256gb (gst included).

To each his own, really. My 2 year TCO under Celcom 98 plan with the subsidized ipx would have been lower than buying the phone outright and staying free off contract.
