Maybe the freaking data scientist they hired to ensure max pickup distance for pings. This is crap coz time and petrol. They just want to minimize incentive payouts.

As you earlier pointed out, waiting at lrt wont get u trips there and instead, the next ping can be 2-3km at job screen but actual pickup distance is like 5km and above.

This is true for even kl city centre.

Nowadays not motivated to drive much, especially mornings even when got up mp blocks.

After work also kena 3kms pickup and since it's the city centre, pickup between 15-25mins. Really wtf.  I usual off online straightaway. Very straightforward, no trips = no incentive = no commission from us.

By dong what they are doing now is like screwing both driver and passenger at OUR expense (petrol, wear and tear, phone data).
*
camp at lrt, get pings few km away for pick up...
the riders destination is the lrt station just next to the drivers.
zzzzzz....

Hi, I'm new here. Just wanna ask if I'm holding a Australian driving licence can i drive with Grab.

I tried Uber registering at the local office, but the staff over there says that only Malaysian Driving lesen is accepted.

Could anyone advice?

Well, as I've shared before, im renting myvi for rm225, but own maintenance etc.

Even then, i dont drive.much also.

350 to 450 is actually steep despite that being the market rate.

How was it then? Good investment?

I know 350-450 is quite steep. I like the fact that u dont have to think about car maintenance. You can just drive like theres no tomorrow .

tell them that in their OWN country they have very strict rules about foreigners working too. for eg USA student visa cannot work in anything non related to their course (especially things like Uber etc)

I had a Malaysian lesen, but then I converted to Singapore lesen which require me to surrender my Malaysian lesen then a Australian lesen. Complicated. But it is legal to drive, and i managed to buy a car using Australian driving lesen.

Couple of my friends doing the same, one of them never take driving lesson in Malaysia.

I'm born in Malaysia, birth cert Malaysia, IC Malaysia, passport Malaysia. biggrin.gif
