A fee will soon be imposed on those seeking to have car window tints above the allowable limit, says Transport Minister Anthony Loke (pic).

He said this is part of the Road Transport (Amendment) Bill 2018, which he tabled in Parliament on Monday (Dec 10) and is expected to be passed and gazetted for implementation by January next year.

Currently, the law allows tints with at least 70% Visible Light Transmission (VLT) for the windscreen, 50% for front passenger windows and 30% for the rear passenger windows and rear windscreen.

"If you tint according to the standard, no approval is needed," he said.

problem with mapren is they are the not the one that book grab and always ask their friend to book on behalf maybe they got ban from grab and unable to create new acc anymore. i have taken alot of mapren that is book behalf by their mapren friends

Hi, i just registered for mycar since kena suspended for 30 days by Grab. Would like to know the following before i start out.

1  Commission structure
2  Any incentive scheme and how does it work  if yes
3  Does it have DR, AR and CR like Grab and what are rules like
4  Generally are the fares on par with Grab
5  Does it have payment mode other than cash and what are timeline to claim back etc
6  Where are generally the hotspots. I operates in KV

Yesterday 5-7pm MP block on AA received 6 job only 1 got RM2.10 TBB. I cancelled 3 another 2 rider cancelled. Don't give a damn fxxk anymore. Previously
already done a lot jobs don't have TBB. Email crap CS until now they not yet compensation me. Already 2 weeks.

Started driving to test liao. 6 pm to 9.30 pm total gross fare cilaka only RM63.

Fare-wise  damn low. From Ampang Point to KLCC only RM6, from KLCC to Bukit Bandaraya Bangsar only RM 11. Intermark to Setiawangsa RM8. One rider even put note got RM2 tip from Bangsar Telawi to KL Central only RM5 scare no driver pick up lol.

PUP distance crazy far. I had to filtered off at least 15 pings with distance from 3km to even 8km.

One more downside is if cancel job the system will source for other drivers and if no other driver accept the job it will bounce back to you and you cannot proceed with new job. I had to wait for 6 mins with job kept bouncing back coz no other drivers pick up. Fed up i decided to accept the job at last. Wonder if still no other drivers picking up what will happen. Rider waiting like a fool and me digging my nose until bleed lol.

System design-wise its a far cry from Grab or Uber. The fonts and info are so wordy & small like reading newspaper while you trying to drive. The chat box can hardly be read with soft color words in yellow background. Even the credit balance in pale green color. Also when in waze mode no button to toggle back to trip page. More finger work to get out of waze and back into mycar.

However got some plus points also. Top up can be done online from your debit or credit card efforlessly and instantly. No need TAC whatsover under this Senang Pay system. Not like Grab got to go hunting for KK Marts or Petronas. Also the time allowed to accept ping is 20 secs so can deliberate longer whether to accept not like Grab's.5 sec. Sometime when on non AA as you turn a corner and have shifted your view and by time you revert back a job has been missed.

Looks like i am missing GRAB already. Got to struggle another 28 days on roti kosong and teh O.

Failure to do so will mean can't drive Grab until it's renewed, correct ?

Or just better gantung kunci and don't bother about it ? Haha

There is already a well tested solution for crappy company - just follow the Uber system of estimated fare based on time + distance + surge pricing based on demand/supply at time of booking. If the actual time taken differs by >100%, then fare will be calculated by actual time taken.

That's why Uber drivers don't complain of traffic jams cos they are compensated accordingly.

No need to reinvent the wheel by all sorts of non transparent schemes like time boost. Unhappy drivers will only result in lousy services.

I notice crap love to have system down at peak hour, billion dollar company and silicon valley level of IT engineering.

Last time when grab down Uber sure surge gao gao as alternative, now go back taxi for alternative

The other day i also took a cute chic from midvalley to endah parade, when nearly reach i also slowdown pace and take longer route , wow she smell good and really cute while laughing watching something funny on her phone...high fare with "good bonus"..think that's my lucky day.
