Ytd I Kena one GS at TBS, the moment I exit lobby, another match at TBS again. If that rider black face, I will sure report it under feedback. Luckily she was quite understanding, the end I earned RM54 for an hour GS job.

This happened yesterday night when set destination back home, around 10.50pm.

First time driving for grab after account migrated from Uber. No regrets not being on the grab platform earlier after completed in excess of 12k trips.

Today 3hrs on Uber netted rm80+, 12 trips totalling 50km

Today 4hrs on grab netted 120 (no commission cos of free credits), 8 trips totalling 130km.

In summary, earnings from Uber has always been better as you have total control over all the variables like no pickup further then 1-2km, no surge, no drive.

As expected, grab riders is the biggest problem. Fake bookings, cancellations and waiting times take up as much as 15min per hour.

Another issue is there is no transparency in the surge pricing. How are the drivers going to balance between pick up distance and price per km charged?

Hopefully with the merging of Uber riders into the system, all of us will have a better experience in future.

And if grab people are reading this, please have more control on your riders. Imposing cancellation and waiting charges will definitely create a more efficient platform.

Also do something on your maps. It's consistently under estimating the mileage resulting in lost earnings.

Why HG don't need to worry? If affects the net profit also ma... Which one better? 4 trips in 1 hour with less than 2km pick up, or 4 trips in 1 hour with 5km plus pick up?

If they can implement auto-cancel after 15 minutes that doesn't affect our CR like what hickups suggested (he suggested 7 minutes), that is better than the current situation.

But moosekaka complained that driver's time not compensated...

Well, current situation is, driver not only not compensated, kena punish some more.....

But sometimes HG forced to take 10km plus trips also. Where got everywhere short trip heaven like that squirrel's playground? Then when kena Grab pembaris then same same like Flexi... All we can do is cry... If Uber wrong fare, you can complain and get compensated. If Grab, they tell you fuck you go die.

used to get many complaints from riders about this at 6am on Mondays. same case like u.. riders will say can see many cars nearby but no one accept ping.
I think like u said.. many drivers only targeting high fares like for eg...to airport. deswai I think either they will raise the minimum AR OR move to hide destination from driver model for everyone.. like Uber.

PS: DAILY minimum 30%(maybe 25%??) AR requirement for everyonei is another model...

this situation is never ending. hg drivers will only select jobs that benefit them, and the same for like flexi. end result some area will have no drivers during certain times.

I think Uber got it right with their hide destination from driver model, if the goal was to ensure that every Rider will get a ride. I think grab will eventually move to this model. and then prepare to hear a lot of FB posts whining about Kena banned due to driver calling Rider where they are going.

their next agenda in pipeline is to remove the current guarantee hours incentive? replace it with something else.

Actually HG now not heavily subsidize like before, more or less cover back commission or slightly more than commission.

For example fare RM400, commission RM80, incentive net is around RM70-100 or less than that. With this daily AR u can't ignore much job per day.

When they say technical glitch, what they mean is this feature shouldn't be out yet.. That's the technical glitch that they mean.
