i wonder, if not combined statement, there may be issue hitting the min statement balance for cashback calculation though

cb qualifier/tier is based on current statement balance amount. that's it.

statement is NOT just spending, it's inclusive of all other transactions especially "credit/payment" that will eventually reduce your final statement balance, eg payment, cashback, reversals, refunds, etc.

cashback is a CREDIT amount mah, it will reduce the statement balance for statement generation. it's a simple statement calculation. CREDIT and DEBIT.

if cashback doesnt reduce statement balance, then what's the point of getting cashback?

they did mention CS wont entertain enquiries on txn details.

perhaps you can try to dispute incorrect cashback instead? let CS take the lead in checking and revert back to you. of course, you can try slot in the mcc question when conversing with CS.

try list out your "food" transactions here.

some we can roughly guess are not really under Dining category, although the things you bought is "food" items.

their registered mcc is outside of cimb petronas's dining definition: MCC 5811, 5812, 5813, 5814, 5921

question: is FPX txn counted (or excluded) from Petronas VI monthly statement balance count?

since there is no specific exclusion for it, i suppose anything that contribute to statement balance will "unlock" the highest 12%/6% cashback tier?

2) CIMB e Credit Card will no longer earn Bonus Points for eWallet transactions (MCC6540)
3) CIMB Travel Credit Cards Bonus Points Earning
4) Renumbering of the clauses in Section (B) Bonus Points Earned

no idea from other white-label ewallets (genuine and approved, but spawned from principal)
