Hi, the rebate different for basic and supplementary card, or it is combined balance?
*
it wasnt mentioned specifically in t&c

but safe to assume the usual behavior: combined rebate, with capping

Thank you. Mean 1500rm balance usage combined from basic and supplementary.

Reason asking this is that whether i should pump all trxn into basic card to hit the threshold. If combined, i does not need to do that.

Lagi, this card does not support wallet, no good.
*
you have the supp card already?

just curious, does the supp txn combined statement with principal?

i wonder, if not combined statement, there may be issue hitting the min statement balance for cashback calculation though

just checked back my statement, the statement balance is only rm14xx after deducting the cashback from the previous month. could this be the reason that i didn't get the cashback for the current month? do they take the previous month's cashback into the statement balance calculation as well?

thanks
*
cb qualifier/tier is based on current statement balance amount. that's it.

statement is NOT just spending, it's inclusive of all other transactions especially "credit/payment" that will eventually reduce your final statement balance, eg payment, cashback, reversals, refunds, etc.

ya i guess so. i'm aware on the extra payment that will reduce the statement balance but never expected the cashback will also contribute to this. so next time will need to spend a little bit more to cover this
*
make sense, right?

cashback is a CREDIT amount mah, it will reduce the statement balance for statement generation. it's a simple statement calculation. CREDIT and DEBIT.

if cashback doesnt reduce statement balance, then what's the point of getting cashback? biggrin.gif

Does CIMB layan us from getting the MCC code or to identify which transaction isn't getting cashback?

Trying to tally for Groceries, Dining and Cashless Parking category on Visa Infinite.
*
they did mention CS wont entertain enquiries on txn details.

perhaps you can try to dispute incorrect cashback instead? let CS take the lead in checking and revert back to you. of course, you can try slot in the mcc question when conversing with CS.

try list out your "food" transactions here.

some we can roughly guess are not really under Dining category, although the things you bought is "food" items.

question: is FPX txn counted (or excluded) from Petronas VI monthly statement balance count?

since there is no specific exclusion for it, i suppose anything that contribute to statement balance will "unlock" the highest 12%/6% cashback tier?

yes, i know FPX not eligible for cashback.
