actually is city brake sensor = front sensor?

cos everytime i ask salesman "this car got front sensor onot" then he say "this car got city brake sensor"

i first time buy car very jakun.

SCBS actually uses a millimeter-wave radar while front parking sensors use ultrasonic sensors.

Both has different usage and capabilities where millimeter-wave radars have the capability to differentiate two separate large objects rather than assuming they are one single object. The definition, depth, coverage area and distance that millimeter-wave radars can perceive is different from ultrasonic sensors making them each suitable for their specific functions.

mazda infamous for no discount among the car market. They don't want to end up like VW and korean brands where people always sit at the sidelines waiting for durian to drop.

At best they give RM1000 discount + free tint (low end reputable brand). Maybe you can try to negotiate a little more with your sales advisor.

deep crystal blue.

now im not sure whether to accept their sky tint konica or take the rm1k cash voucher for the tinting . any feedback?

apart from the 'kruk kruk' sound when going over bumps on a rainy day, there isn't any major issue with the car right?
*
skip their tint go do something good outside
u need a strong windscreen that block most of the heat

Nothing much on the major issue side at the moment. Mechanical wise, the front suspension sounds is all that is apparent.
Some owners reported of Electronic issues (Auto lights, city brake sensors, rain sensors, etc etc) but are under 1 control unit (or computer).
Which can be replaced very easily.
*
have they resolved the Kruk sound?some say change the brake caliper pin from japan?
some change lower arm. anyone have latest update?

I visited one of the showrooms and apparently there are no cars to test drive at all for all models (not just Mazda 3) due to the sales from no GST? Can someone let me know if any showroom in the greater KL area has a M3 for test driving?

Choosing between this and the Civic 1.5TC.

try going big showroom like Glenmarie or Sungai besi.
small shop lot showroom are lousy with test drive cars.
they have limited budget so they try to lower their cost by having test drive cars that were popular sell.
like m2 or cx5

Yes they are different. The high spec mirror is auto dimming.

Ron 95. Don't waste your money on Ron 97 with zero benefit.

Sure is zero benefit? Skyactiv is high compression engine.
I'm not expert but I read some article and research, high compression better use highet Ron, not true?

The power gain I noticed was very minimal. In terms Ron 97, you'll feel a little bit more low end power compared to Ron 95 but as mentioned, very minimal.

Thats just my feeling with the car between 97/95.

Oh yeah, you guys may receive a Carbon Cleaner lately when you send your M3 to service.
You'll have to pump high octane petrol to clean in. I pumped Ron 97, again I don't feel much difference after the clean up.

The RON rating has nothing to do with engine power. Using a lower rating than recommended may result in early detonation (knocks) but using higher than recommended has no benefit. The notion of extra cleaning agents in RON 97 is also dubious.
