tint shop should be able to do ppf or wrap those center console.

the accessories shop can get this done for you.

i replaced all the tints already except for rear windscreen, didnt want to mess with the defogger.

Like what shanidras mentioned, no matter how you move also could have block the view a little.
but the best that we could do is just moving the existing plate to lower side, so the obstruction is very minimal.
otherwise, you could do the sticker plate, diagonally under your headlamp on one side.

fixed by berjaya sompo for the first year recommended sum insured. plus, they also give a 10k coverage for natural disaster, so it's best to stick with berjaya sompo, later on only decide if you wanna switch to another provider.

and yes, for the side step, will send back for a warranty claim during my next service at the end of this month or early next month.

lazy wanna send back just for that scuff plate only. so do it once, together when i send it back during service.

hahahah, i would suggest you to drop your car and leave it to them to install and you don't wanna see/know how they do it. but these are properly fitted in your car. so far after a couple of weeks, it works perfectly fine.

those scuff plates are non-wired, they are battery powered, the battery is in the plate itself, in fact, if you do was your car yourself, you may accidentally move them a little which may cause the lights to go off. which i believe this is what happened to mine, the inside is always dirty, so when i do weekly wash, i would clean it, together with the scuff plates, so i suspect this is the reason why i always caused them to switch off.

They are battery magnetic powered, the light goes off when you shut your door.

By the way just FYI, this is not made available to those who got their car in 2019. starting 2020 only they fix it as a standard stuff.

not too sure about the mid-spec though. maybe those who bought the 2.0 high version can comment a little?
