MC6 boleh pakai lar...at least cheaper than the japan made toyo....

Not so sure about performance wise since mc6 is really new in the market....but likely that the tyre noise will be a little more bearable compared to the toyo.

mc6 is good according to Bobby Ang.

Ya i mentioned good enough, but whether really that great is still up for more user to experience and comment. This tyre also under my list of consideration for my change in a few months time.

These car reviewers are paid, so some bias-ness are there. Or to put it in a more respectful manner to bobby, downsides are more hushed up.

The road roar is going to be there no matter what tyre you change to, just how the characteristic of the noise is bearable to you or not....

I'm used to it already, and i don't turn up the volume really high either as i hardly listen to any music in the car, only news.

It is a downhill road when you start the sound proofing journey...as you settle one problem, another type of noise will irritate you...and by the time really reach the level that you're satisfied, likely spent close to 5 figure number.

Might as well wait save it for new generation model if really tak boleh tahan....go try the new cx5 to understand the difference. You can somehow gauge the level improvement.

Hi m3 Zoomers,
Owner of CBU m3 skyactive here. Just service car at SC using own EO Shell Helix Ultra 0w-30.
Previously using stock EO Helix hx7.
After oil change can feel the car is "lighter". Engine roar also different. And can feel that car can pickup faster with lower RPM. (Hopefully not a placebo effect).

Anyone using same this EO? Can share you experience?

It's with heavy-hearted that I'm sharing this. I am planning to let go my beloved newborn baby here after being with him for just 1 month (Even named him Spectre, 'cos he reminds me of the elegant, charming, bold, and wise Harvey Spectre of Suits.). Reason being is that I have just found out that I was offered to further my postgraduate study in oversea. It's a too-good-not-to-reject kinda offer and I am accepting it. It would be a waste if I don't.
I don't plan to bring him with me (costs and maintenance can be a hassle). I'll have to be posted in oversea for a few years before I can come back. My family members are not going to take care of him as well (My dad has his own vehicle and my mom doesn't drive).

Ok, enough of the sob story, but I am hoping that you guys could recommend a place that I could let him go in good hands and good price, of course. Yes, I realise about the decline in price although it's just been 1 month old, but I'm hoping that I don't have to lose much (need to survive and fund my postgraduate studies).

I did not expect this offer to come as I've been applying for long. Evidently, I have just polished him and been taking him for a good bath every week. It is also shielded with a good tint (I can't stand hot..lol)

If you'd like to know the mileage, kindly refer to the dashboard image as attached. As you can see, it hasn't reach the 5000km mark yet. It's also still in the standard 5 years warranty and free maintenance for 3 years. On the model, it's a Hatchback, which I've felt the spark and love at first sight when I laid my eyes and tested it. I've been told by the car salesman that there was only 3 in the whole of Malaysia and by the time I owned it last December 2017, it is no longer produced and out of stock.

Really hope to hear from all of you with regards to the possibility of me to proceed with this hearty-hearted plan. I'm willing to let go at a price that we both feel comfortable with, just as long as you promise to take good care of him well.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about this and I hope to hear from you soon. Please help me to share this with your friends, family members, wives, husbands, yee-ma-ku-jie, pakcik, makcik, mak lang, pak lang, kak long, abang long, dan semua yg berkaitan ye..

P/S: If you are looking to earn some extra cash, feel free to share this with your acquaintances and you may mark up (but please let me know first ya..lol) Kindly contact me by messaging me here or through my email at robincheah@gmail.com.

Get the EO from Shell petrol station. After hard bargain, get it RM299.
What type of EO you plan to use?

Also notice previously SC put 4+1 liter of EO.
Now SC only put 4L, i ask why, SC say is instruction from KL.
And the extra is 0.2L for the oil filter.

So is there any effect or long term effect if EO is only pour 4L instead of 4.2 previously?

Do any sifu here top up urself outside?

Is yours the pre-facelift non-GVC hatchback? It was not popular as it was sold at HS price but with GL specs. If it is the facelift GVC hatchback you have a better chance of getting a good price.

This is the facelifted version. This is the 2017 GVC (image attached). Yeah, it's been a month only. The facelifted one can't be found in the market already.

Nothing will go wrong with it, as long as the dip stick indicator stays above the 2nd half. It should only come to a concern if it is closer to the 2nd half of the dip stick.

If you're concerned, just buy a 1L bottle of engine oil and pour in periodically if you find it dropping below the maximum line. I do that once in a while as some full throttle runs can eat up a little engine oil.

there is no need to worry if the SC use 4L of oil. In fact, it is good for you as it improves fuel consumption, lighter throttle response, less stress on engine components & rev happier. 4L is just
nice with the marking just 1-2mm below the FULL mark. In fact, I just put 3.8L (between min & max marking) for my car and so far so good.
