folks, mazda 3 is 18inch and 7j rim, if installed 8j rim with 225 45 r18 tyre, i m just wonder will the mud or debris hit the car? since our car does not come with a wide mud guard.

I have this setup, and yes it will be more dirt than before.

Guys, is our warranty 3 years or 5 years? Anyone who has finished his free service know how much SC charge for normal service with semi-synthetic oil?
*
Depends when you bought the car, I think for cars 2017 onwards get 5 years. Maybe the older cars with 3 years have the option to extend like what Toyota have but I doubt Mazda has anything like that.

hiya, first time here, looking at a mazda 3 sedan and i understand that currently they are all CKD ? and as such they will not have the i-loop regenerative system ?

and i am curious to know what sorta weight savings this will bring about ?

The weight saving from removing the i-loop system is negligible. It is just a capacitor to store charge when the brakes are applied and discharge the energy to the electrical system later. It was probably removed because the energy saving is not worth the cost of the system.

Removed since started CKD batch of the prefacelifted version.

If not, the car battery won't die so fast as the ieloop capacitor can power startup during istop.

But there are also some cases of ieloop failure, so a give and take situation. I guess mazda/bermaz thinks that ieloop don't work well in our climate/driving environment as even the new batch of CX9 also got that removed.

ieloop can complement istoop, but the car can run fine without either. Just some emissions related features.

The website.. Improved interface but still quite useless.. Bet you need to call up SA or customer service to ask.

MC6 boleh pakai lar...at least cheaper than the japan made toyo....

Not so sure about performance wise since mc6 is really new in the market....but likely that the tyre noise will be a little more bearable compared to the toyo.
