Water based material, not as strong as the old school chemical based materials. What to do....environmental/sustainability concerns mar.....

Have to agree that the clear coat also not so thick/strong, but most modern bread and butter japanese brands also pretty similar. Get an automotive film stuck on your front bonnet and bumpers.

If want to maintain/enhance the lustre/shine, water beading effect, yes coating helps. For protection against chipping, totally no, no matter what hardness level they advertised. Best way is apply automotive based film/wrap.

Even with such a physical layer of film/wrap, still can suffer some chipping; you think mere coating can really "protect"?

just to share...

i have got these two particular "suspension noise"

1) ngek ngek noise when go through higher speed bumps, during wet road conditions -

2) "kruk kruk" sound when going through uneven roads, very soft only noticeable when turned off the speakers. but somehow annoying. Is this the famous kruk kruk sound that most of you have with the suspension?

my car only 7k mileage, less than half year old...didn't expect these appear so fast lol..

So yours must be the facelift GVC Mazda 3. I thought they may have done something about it.

My car also has 1) but didn't notice 2). Personally they are minor complaints which I wouldn't worry about.

The non-GVC Mazda 3 is still an amazing car and definitely worth getting. However you should bargain with your SA for more rebate as RM9K is on the low side.

The non-GVC model is already 1 year old. RM9K where got enough? 1 year depreciation already RM20K.
