Only syurgo pipu said KB is the best, lots of scenery, jange pecoh etc etc. Reality is the city sux big time, people will either go to Kuantan or KT. Or to KB bekoz wanna cheong at Thai.

I agree wit u
If i go KB is usually to go to narathiwat for business or down to Ganu for scenery.

KB mmg a typical city feel..and im nt a city traveller. Xde apa2 nak tgk dekat sana. Prefer scenery/kpg for sightseeing

Correct or not merely 4 hours. That track is much farther than KL to Butterworth and it also takes almost 4 hours.

If you compare time, it is short. If you compare money, it is more expensive than 2L vehicle. Imagine how many train can transport people in one trip. So, I still consider expensive

Actually the rail is meant for cargo purpose, the sweetener is we able to enjoy the rail ride to east coast without the hassle of driving or waiting long time at airport.

I still think RM120 is quite cheap, factoring the inflation in future. Even travelling to KT with toll also cost u around RM60 already.

The main objective is connecting Klang and Kuantan port, this i think only additional project, and why not. RM120 is quite a good price. And giving extra transportation option to East Coast.

Even if highway is built and reaches Kelantan, it cannot cope with festive season traffic, and air travel can be very expensive during festive season.

An eight-car train as proposed for ECRL can carry 600 passengers, equal to four A320 jets.

It's not just Kelantan will benefit, but all other towns along the route too.

Bentong will be economically closer to Klang Valley too.

Dont underestimate purchasing poer of east coast people. They do busines in cash and their disposable income is higher than those of klang valley. The train to east coast is due and will spur economic growthn just like the highway. Right now ETS in northern region is regarded as succesful due to high ridership. It opens up a lot of possibilities especially on small town growth
