The theory is that AMOLED pixels are turned off when black, hence conserving power. However, the difference is not that significant, as per this article.

Ah, ok. Erm, prefer some colors on my screen. After all, my X is already space grey and my casing black. Not too worried about the battery usage for the screen. smile.gif

Hoda sp still fine on my phone. I’m using a flip case; so the case actually provides extra protection if I put my X in my handbag.

just to ask your opinion. Do you enable or disable the "reduce motion" option in setting? I understand that enable it might preserve some battery life. The question is do you see significant battery life saving enable vs disable? Kind of waste if disable the beautiful feature in iPX. Because if it is no significant battery life changed, then I would not mind to disable it.

I'm not sure about the X but both my wife and I are using Hoda (full coverage) on our 8+ and 7+. We find it to be very good so far. Yeah, you definitely can change it easily but I'm hopeless at DIY so I prefer to get a shop or a seller like sakurazz to assist with the application.

Oh you opted for delivery. Where is your location? Normally when I buy from him, I'll go to his "office" for him to install.

*Office = McDonalds Drive Thru Sri Damansara

My location is bukit jalil. Also, damansara is a bit far from me and I have to work on weekdays so no time to go there and collect. My phone also haven't arrive, so that's another problem.

Oh ok. Anyways, when your phone arrives you can bring it to any third party shop to install if you want to. I've tried it and they just charge me RM5.

I would recommend that you let Sakurazz install if you have butter fingers like me. It looks easy to install but if bubbles appear, its a bit hard to push it off. Anyway, he is a nice guy and can give you recommendations on what to install. He also has a range of backcovers for you to spend more money on. tongue.gif laugh.gif
