I noticed this model is kinda fragile compared to previous models. Probably coz of the glass back. I decided to spend more on quality case for my daily use. So I got the otterbox case.

$188 for flip case. There was a switch fair at pyramid few weeks back. So it’s 10% cheaper than then rrp. Free some plastic stand.

The space grey is really nice. Better than I expected (after seeing the silver) esp the sides. It does blend better.

Partial. It’s the clear screen sp in a white box. Price is $69. I brought my otterbox case to check if it fits. The case is quite tight. I have doubts whether the full coverage sp can fit. Anyway, all my sp from previous iPhones are not full coverage. So, I’m not that worried about it. Using a flip case also helps.

Yes, better to get the sp and case first. There are quite a lot of choices. The hoda sp I’m using now is quite good.

I got the 64gb. My storage usage is low. So it won’t really benefit me. I think it shouldn’t be an issue to get the 64gb in your case. As some have mentioned here, get more storage if you plan to keep the phone for a few years. But some of the forumers here change their phone yearly or less.

I was at machines pyramid during lunch time. I saw one worker took one box out for customer. If I see any machines shop, will check and update here.

I think apple products are easier to use and the phone do last few years. So that’s why ppl keep coming back to buy.

Have to join their member club with minimal fee. It’s quite a good deal.

So far the experience is good and transition is fine. No problem with Face ID even in the car at night with flashes of passing light (passenger). The X is good to hold coz smaller then the plus. My hands are small and I still use both hands to type. I can pick up the gestures ok enough. Still haven’t learn up on the sh1t emoji that attw mentioned. Lol.

I’m not used to the otterbox casing. It’s kinda thick. When the flip case is folded behind, it becomes thicker. I prefer the viva Madrid flip cases I used for i6s+ and i7+. Will try to tahan for now.

How about Hoda brand sp? Can easily find in the stores like Machines. Some ppl including myself using. Depends on your budget also.

Spigen should be fine for the case. I prefer it more compared to ringke for my previous phones.

My sp is partial coverage. I’ve not tried Imos. It should be good but pricey.

The $449 leather case? Is the bottom part covered? That made me hesitant to buy their other cases.

Which iOS version? When I first activated the phone, it “force” the upgrade to 11.1.2. Not a concern coz I would have upgraded anyway.

Face ID still works in the mornings. I have to say it’s impressive. It’s so seamless.
