no, nlock bootloader is allowed by manufacturer and should not void warranty

Here i post a guide for those on china rom want to flash global rom. if you're on fake rom or your phone comes with global 9.2.3.0, i suggest you go testpoint flash China rom dulu.

no need wait lah, buy DD punya cheap2, make sure is china official rom. after that sendiri unlock BL and flash global. u wait official msia set u pay few hundred extra.

surprisingly it was easy.

before i do it i oso felt it is complicated, but when it comes down to actually doing it, just had to follow the step by step guide and sudah kautim.

Cant la... People's old phone no longer in use. I kasi angkat thought mau kasi flash custom rom to give it a 2nd life, mana tau after read2 all those guides and forums in the end i spit saliva and give up. Bought this redmi instead.

**edit** lol i thought u were referring to samsung. In case of redmi 5+ flash global rom, better diy. U need to wait 360hours and u have to unlock using the same pc that first gave you the countdown. Just get supplier to give you china rom is enuf liao, as long as not fake rom.

last weekend i kautim transfer my stuffs from moto to redmi. bila mau swap sim card, aiyyaaaaaa redmi use nano sim while mine is stil micro sim. ham chin peng betul. later have to go service centre request change nano sim.

Dowan potong sendiri lah, my hands not very steady. Change nano sim free for postpaid customer mah... Anyway sudah done change, now officially posting mobile data from redmi

Before this in office my moto only can get hsdpa (3g), connection bad sometimes tarak line sometimes connect 2g. Now with redmi ada lte 4g, ada 1 bar pun boleh pakai lagi, or it drops down to 3g. so at least my web whatsapp tarak kacau.

Dunno about digi but mine on celcom, the volte button was deactivated by default. But i still could make call. Saw a certain *#*# code from forum which i keyed in and activated the volte button just now, but i dont think it made any difference.

testpoint flash china rom no need unlock BL. after flash china rom only request unlock BL.
once kautim unlock then fastboot flash the Global rom. to flash global rom unlock BL IS A MUST.
after kautim fastboot rom, then you can flash TWRP and then kasi root.
