Don't know why celcom is charging more on the device! Look at the full price for 24 months contract for 15PM. Retail for 6499 and they are charging 6816 which is RM319 more! Which is more expensive!! What is the reason behind this? Last year 14PM retila was 5799 and the price on the first day contract was 5280 which is RM519 cheaper. What is this day light robbery Celcom doing? Is this even legal?

I've been signing plan with celcom since iphone 11 pro. Usually after 12 months of device monthly + 12 month device penalty, it would still be lesser than buying outright of the retail price. But looking at this. Doesn't seems it would be cheaper anymore using this method. I gave my 13PM to family member after upgrading 14PM and so on yearly. damn u celcom.

Hmmm.. strange.. my monthly payment for 15P is the same as my 14P which is rm209/month for 256G size with 24months of contract

Anyway, celcom shop is offline now..

device monthly is 227 which is 5448 after 24 months. It's still cheaper than buying outright if see out the contract. But won't be cheaper if plan to use 1 year + device penalty.

Is it possible that this is due to the type of contract i.e your previous contract for iPhone 14 was device bundle and the current contract you chose for iPhone 15 is EasyPhone? Easyphone is essentially an installment loan, thus would incur interest. This is why the device discount is usually significantly lower than the device bundle equivalent

14PM also easyphone. There is no interest and it should be cheaper than retail.

Looks like the current offers will last until 28th. Anyone waiting for Device Bundle contract to appear will need to wait until Friday midnight/morning

One good thing is that 5% discount on auto debit. Not like other telco which only offers 6 months or 3 months.

I got the same contract value. But assuming you don’t cancel your contract after 12 months , it’s sitll 227 x 24 which is 5,448 right?
