Any shop in KL where I can walk-in to get an iPhone X 64/256GB tomorrow? Or are they all out of stock? Wasn't planning on getting one but suddenly have this urge.

Need some advise here. I will probably take up 25gb of storage for iphone X as new, and I'm gonna use it for at least 2 yrs. Should I opt for 64 or 256?

If you can afford it, I will always say go for the top spec. However, if you are really sure that you will never need more than 64GB, then get that and spend the saved money on cases and accessories.

For me I like that there's still 200GB free on my phone with ~50GB used up. To each their own

Magic disc 4 doesn't support fast charge for iPhone X according to the specs.

Edit: iPhone X currently supports only 5W wireless charging which will be boosted up to 7.5W after release of firmware 11.2.

The magic disc 4 supports 9V/1.7A which is around 15W which also is the limit of wireless charging. Thus it should fast charge the iPhone X at 7.5W although the specs didn't indicate it.

Edit 2: currently apple provided iPhone charger at 5V/1A which only charges iPhone X at 5W. Comparatively wireless at 7.5W (after firmware 11.2) should be faster. Change to iPad charger at 5V/2A and the charging time should be faster.

However fastest should still be USB-C with PD which theoretically could go up to 40W. But apple never indicate the max Wattage iPhone X can support.

My 6 still lasting till today but drains quite fast, might need to get replaced soon. 7 still alright. X coming soon

A friend managed to get one from klcc, other friend got from mid valley. I'm heading over to mid valley tomorrow to check out the machines there and gardens. If no luck then gonna head to klcc and see.

Belkin is reputable but for 80 bucks, maybe overpriced? Most expensive I've seen also RM60 +/-

Yeah, I think the general advice for AMOLED displays is that using black wallpapers and dark themes help conserve battery life, but I've tried it on my previous S8+ and Galaxy Note 8, and there was very little difference between using normal wallpapers and themes vs darker/black ones.

HEIF/HEVC is the latest format so compatibility is going to be an issue. JPEG is still the best when used with 256GB lol. Whatever format doesn't matters when share on social media.
