i got the 3rod this morning.. got it twice.. then power off.. n its working again.
But how do i check the error code ar..???

In my room. Non-ac. I left it standing (vertical). I could play 2-3 hours before this but not anymore. i send the 360 to fix an hour ago. i was thinking to get it x-clamped tot31. well lets just see if the guy i sent to know how to fix it or not. but anyway how do i pass my machine to tot31?

it seems like the h/ware failure rate is very high. should send a petition to microsoft to replace their sub-standard consoles. lol.

But at any rate, I would suggest the XClamp fix. Even if you send it to SG and get it back, there's no telling when it would 3ROD again. Then you need to send it back again
It would be a different matter when the 360 is officially launched in Malaysia though, but I doubt it would ever happen.

hold sync button(small white button) then press eject (dvd drive) button...

x clamp replacement is indeed great. and hopefully it clears up 3rods of all xbox360..

but what "if" I said if.. the x clamp doens't cure the problem hence you already void the warranty and you can't send it back to MS...

if u got warranty better send it first...after that can send to our lovely lowyat tech hehehe...

zc, try and plug it directly to your wall socket without connecting it to some extension cable or lightning arrestor

Here is how you interpret the LEDs to get the code number:
All four lights flashing - 0
One light flashing - 1
Two Lights flashing - 2
Three lights flashing - 3

That's the only reason to send it back to Microsoft. If xclamp doesn't fix my problem, I have a 3 months old paperweight....

I guess I'll have to try and find a way to send it back to SG first.

Console by itself is not even 6 months old. Sigh, damn freaking hard to contact them if you're not in SG. I still can't find their direct number.

Apparently, they need 10 business days (2 weeks) for you to get a replacement.

Juz nw my house dun have electricity..So whn the tenaga came back,i switched it on and the 3 lights came again and the console switch off by itself..After dat i turn off evrything and switch it on again..The 3 lights appeared again..Tehn i switch it off for 5 mins..After dat i turn it on but then nth happened..Now it works like normall..Iz this a sign dat 3Rod is coming?

ps..Mine same date as Verced..
