Just asking. Where do you keep your xbox? Air-conditioned room or room temperature? Vertical or horizontal?
And what is the longest period you left it on?

But at any rate, I would suggest the XClamp fix. Even if you send it to SG and get it back, there's no telling when it would 3ROD again. Then you need to send it back again sweat.gif
It would be a different matter when the 360 is officially launched in Malaysia though, but I doubt it would ever happen.

Eh, mine 3RODed as well after my house power failured a few weeks back.
Had a bit of a shock.
Switched it off, waited a bit then switched it on. Everything's fine now.

My manufacturing date is 2006 - 8 - 16 as well.
