But for fast track, its worth it, at least for me. In route to reach Platinum soon.
Also Visa Platinum is better as no AF, same fast track 30% reduction as Infinite.
So yea, for now its still acceptable card to keep. If they continue to slash their perks, no brainer to just cancel them.

HLBB is much better than AM Enrich now, ironic considering AM is the official MAS partner...
HLBB dining RM1 = 1 airmile
HLBB Travel & Retail RM4 = 1 airmile
HLBB Others RM6 = 1 airmile (This includes Insurance!)
No AF!! & 4x PPL per year

but ambank got 30% fast track reduction and 12% flight discount

MAS frequently gives 10% flight discount, so that benefit is quite useless IMO
And if you only use your points to redeem Bus seats tickets 1-2 times per year, is the fast track useful?

30% reduction on fast track for elite member, can reach gold and platinum level. nothing related to bus

Exactly, those benefits doesn't really help at all in earning miles faster which makes HLBB a better card overall IMO.

Is it possible to downgrade AM Visa Infinite to Platinum by just calling CS?

for frequent travellers who utilises the lounge often and maxing out the 35kg luggage privilege it is definitely worth it. not to mention priority boarding and higher chance of getting upgraded to business for free

just combo both HLB VI + Ambank Enrich VP. Probably one of the better combos for Enrich atm

I spent a lot oversea from Nov till March this year, I think it is worth the hassle.

For frequent travellers mainly aiming for economy tickets sure, but for those only aiming for business seats, all those perks are already included in the tickets.
So the main difference btw HLBB & AM is if your focus is more on the extra benefits e.g. lounge, extra baggage, priority boarding, then go for AM. If your main priority is earning airmiles, then HLBB is better

Why not get both?

Those from Alliance VI, including me should be considering HLBB now after they cut all the perks.

For earning miles the HLBB seems better in every area, no point getting AM since the extra benefits doesn't apply to me
I'll cancel my Alliance VI if they won't waive the AF, but i'm actually thinking of getting MBB Krisflyer Amex Plat now. AF isn't as bad at RM300 per year for principal only, and their miles is still RM2.50 per mile which is the best rate now... Not to mention KF miles redemption value is actually better than Enrich, and their planes, food & servicing is so much more better than MAS...

Problem is you will be limited by the number of merchants accepting AMEX. There's other cards to consider if you want to go KF route.

And experience may vary, but just FYI it won't be easy to redeem flights, plenty of competition... you definitely need to plan well ahead compared to MAS

Amex KF doesn’t require to redeem miles as it auto-converts to KF and credited every month.

What I meant was redeeming the miles for flights

i just applied ambank enrich infinite card last month. i have not activated the card but i notice the lounge voucher is in my MAS app.

without activate the ambank card, can i use the golden lounge voucher in MAS app? thanks
