I'm looking at Ambank Enrich Visa Infinite and Alliance Visa Infinite. Which should I go for? On first glance it seems Ambank is better especially the lounge benefit but it is limited to just MAS (good if you plan to fly frequently with MAS)

Also I cant find any info about the annual fee for Enrich VI, only regarding the waiver, even on their website. How much is the annual fee without waiver?

Hmm but somehow I still think having these 2 cards together is a bit redundant no?

Ambank Enrich VI - Main limitation is MAS and Enrich. No limitation when it comes to earning points, as in no specific categories or minimum spent (correct me if I'm wrong). Lounge access is golden lounge only so this can be a limitation depending on the airport you go. Can we use this card to access One World lounges?

Alliance VI - points will never expire. However the earning is depends on specific categories. Some will earn will you higher points up to 8x eg: online spent and ewallets. Lounge access is typical public lounges

To me it feels like a no brainer to go for Enrich VI? Unless you absolutely dislike / avoid MAS at all cost. If I want to get just one card now first, which would you recommend?

not according to the TnC. Putting this here in case anyone have the same question. So conclusion Enrich VI / VP lounge access is only limited to Golden Lounge in KLIA ONLY. You definitely gonna need another CC for lounges in other airports.

Other than a slightly better miles conversion rate and free annual fee, I dont see how its any better than Ambank Enrich VI or VP? Unless I am missing something

Anybody downgraded Enrich Infinite to Platinum before to avoid the 2nd year annual fee? Have to do it before the annual fee appears in statement or can do it after?

i was thinking to make use of the better rate for foreign spent (RM1 = 1 point) within 1 year before downgrading back to platinum (if possible)

Then its a bit wasted isn't it. Since this card give one of the best convertion rate for foreign spent @ rm1 = 1 point

Just read Refined Points article about the nerf and he speculated that MAS may be the reason behind this considering Alliance VI received a major nerfed as well on the same day. Just pure speculation but it does make you wonder....

just combo both HLB VI + Ambank Enrich VP. Probably one of the better combos for Enrich atm

Problem is you will be limited by the number of merchants accepting AMEX. There's other cards to consider if you want to go KF route.

And experience may vary, but just FYI it won't be easy to redeem flights, plenty of competition... you definitely need to plan well ahead compared to MAS

yes most chain stores will accept but it's still frustrating when you have a big bill to pay and end up AMEX not accepted. Encountered many times.

it was not really a good miles card before the adjustment also

main reason to get the VP is for the lounge access and fast track to elite status

but good thing still no annual fee required, so just keep the card
