Hie guys, i just did a reformat of my pc and was going through the process of reinstalling all the drivers. I hit a deadend at the sound card driver. I'm using a DFI P965-S mobo's onboard soundcard, which is supposed to be a Azalia (realtek) chip. Downloaded the latest driver and installed them (from dfi support web) but win xp still cannot detect it as a sound card.

Under device manager, win xp shows the soundcard as PCI Device with an unknown question mark.

Would appreciate all the help as it's pretty annoying to use a pc without sound.

I just get a new DFI P965-S RMAed. My rig can't boot up. It turn on for few seconds and turn off later (no display at all). This keep on repeat. After reset bios and it only boot up once. After go into BIOS, I have made changes and save those changes. It get back to the problem ealier (turn on for few seconds and turn off later, no display at all).

I noticed motherboard led is on and vdimm led at around memory slot is off and on and off again.

Just wonder do you guys know what happens? Please help.

i got the same prob. although mine is power led keep on blinking like crazy and keeps on booting without getting to POST. i don't o'c since recently i installed vista.

resetting bios doesn't do diddly squat. took out battery, moved the jumpers. nothing

I found out where the problem is. You have to turn off Spread Spectrum. This will boot the system up without any problem. You have to clear bios in order to successfully get into BIOS setting.

Other than that, if you want to make your motherboard recognized E6750, you have to reflash the bios with 0703 version.

Right now, I have another problem. Front Panel USB port didn't able to use USB External harddisk. USB External Hard disk able to detect and recognized in back panel USB port. Why? Not enough power? Any CIFU can help would be appreciated.

ram timing of coz;a start loose kawan...then burn in if stable play with timing then burn in..fsb not sure....la forgot edi...

damn i suck at this... since no time to play makes it even harder for me.im looking for 1:1 with almost default voltage.. no crazy OCed to 3.6ghz just more than 3.0Ghz wud be enuff as my ram is holding me back... i can get a D9 chips but after a few reviews i've read the ram isnt good for long term use as it needs to pump even more vdimm to stay stable at the same setting.

i also have this problem last time. while using crucial balistix. after raising the vdimm to 1.90 from 1.8, it can boot like no problem before. a single long beep means yr ram is not function properly. try to raise yr vdimm. maybe yr problem same like me.
