erm. . is 411 the latest stable bios? not beta arr?

i'm still a long way to go to fully unleash the potential of this board..
haven't get proc and ram yet.. still on budget parts..

for proc.. i know i'm getting e6300 la.. but ram.. no idea which one's the best buy..

Btw, hit 3.8ghz on pentium D 920 on stock cooling and stock voltage.. not stable though.. died after 20 mins of orthos.

okie, this is weird.. my proc fan keeps revving up.. even though temp is around 45-50C. It revs up, den slows down, den rev up again.. @.@ any idea why arr? smart guardian shows the fan rev from 2.2k RPM to 3.0k RPM over and over again.

btw, the system is idle.. no load being placed on proc.

the one shown in the pic is an engineering sample. note the lack of heatsink on the southbridge and liquid caps used. I guess they must've been using a cheaper/test PWM.

i'm not using my floppy molex cos it's too far away.. and so far my system is stable..

OCed to 375FSB x 9 for E6600 with RAMs running at 1:1 at same speed.

Dunno why i can't run at 400x9.. i tried running my ram at 800mhz (from 667) and it's stable.. but when pushed together with proc, i get error while loading windows. Boosted the Vcore to 1.41v

using 8800gts.. hmm.. you mean the floppy power should be plugged in for those using pci-e powered gfx?

i wan to plug it in.. but .. lol.. the cable too short.. @.@ the placing for the plug is kinda weird..

what the.. your voltage so low one?? got gem proc issit?

hey wan ask.. is there any way to run my rams on other speed instead of 1:1 ratio? every time i increase cpu speed, the ram speed increases together.. can i like run my proc at 375x9 (3400mhz) and rams at 400x2 (800mhz)?

hmm.. come to think of it.. only nforce chipset can allow unlinked... i can use unlinked on nf4 chip.

Hie guys, i just did a reformat of my pc and was going through the process of reinstalling all the drivers. I hit a deadend at the sound card driver. I'm using a DFI P965-S mobo's onboard soundcard, which is supposed to be a Azalia (realtek) chip. Downloaded the latest driver and installed them (from dfi support web) but win xp still cannot detect it as a sound card.

Under device manager, win xp shows the soundcard as PCI Device with an unknown question mark.

Would appreciate all the help as it's pretty annoying to use a pc without sound.

I downgraded from Vista to XP and i got this stupid problem. LOL.
