It's not actually water proof. It's water resistant. Lol. But u can test also.. ahaha.. if spoil don't blame me. Heheh

i did test put in my sink while brush my teeth..so far no issue...just wipe after that...yes, IP68 rated as "dust tight" and protected against complete, continuous submersion in water..

Not more than 1.5 meter and definitely not continuous submersion. As stipulated by Samsung, not more than 30 minutes. Please provide correct information lest others not in the know are misled.

YASSS +10000 to note 8!

Note: Although I think the Iphone X's OS seems nice. But i like it like 2/10. Cause the #1 thing i dont like is the screen. blegh. ugly af. #2 is probably the home button. its one of apples most iconic symbols. haha.. i think la.. lol. waiting for people to review note 8 vs ipX. i wouldnt be surprised if ipX beats note 8, but I still will love mynote 8. smile.gif hehe. currently having ip5s and note 8. xD thinking to change my 5s ad.. lol. xD

Here's what I did when Samsung recalled the Note 7. I was sad it was gonna leave me because I loved it so much. I brought it swimming. Pool was no more than 1.5meters deep. But I definitely played in the pool for more than an hour (bringing out of and into the water). Came out, first thing that I realised.. Shit..no sound.. Then I thought.. Oh well.. Gonna give it back anyway, not my problem. Went for a shower and saw the speaker holes being covered by water. Blow dry and tadaaaa.. Working like a charm again

I think some of the users here did experience what you are experiencing. So far, my phone has been kind to me. Touch wood. Hope they fix this issue with a software update soon.

And battery hogging too, don't know why need 4 services to run a fb app. not heavy user here, just disabled all services, installed FB lite, no issue since.
