How to see which router have stronger wifi capability via the spec ?

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ May 14 2018, 03:07 PM)
None so far bro. If you want only mobile router, I recommend either one if thus models:

1) https://www.lazada.com.my/products/tp-link-...rzTYYT&search=1

2) https://www.lazada.com.my/products/tp-link-...rzTYYT&search=1

Or you can find something cheaper yourself.

found some minor trick.

if you setup System Log E-mail Settings via router web interface, the E-mail Title you would receive at your E-mail is RG log .

if you setup System Log E-mail Settings via mydlink.com with Internet Explorer ActiveX or Firefox NPAPI Plugins, Firefox NPAPI Plugins now only still available at Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR), the E-mail Title you would receive at your E-mail is mydlink Test Mail .

if you setup System Log E-mail Settings via mydlink Lite Android App, the E-mail Title you would receive at your E-mail is Test+mail+from+Android+App .

the E-mail Title is the only different, everything else was the same.

---

another minor trick.

WPA only or WPA2 only setting,

the router web interface and mydlink Lite Android App only has WPA/WPA2 setting, but the mydlink.com with Internet Explorer ActiveX or Firefox NPAPI Plugins has WPA only or WPA2 only setting.

---

another minor trick.

this option only available via mydlink.com with Internet Explorer ActiveX or Firefox NPAPI Plugins and mydlink Lite Android App, it does not available at router web interface.

(via E-Mail)

Notify me when:

New device connected

Device failed to connect

New firmware available

all trick are perform on unifi D-Link DIR-850L, not sure about other model.

the D-Link Dir-850L given by TM, not sure due to the Realtek Chipset or D-Link Design, the wireless ping would always higher than wired ping by around 3ms, pinging ip example TM own ipv4 1.9.1.9 and ipv6 2001:e68::b:68 or any other ipv4 and ipv6.

the client was same room with the wireless router, there is no interference at wifi, speedtest was be able to reach full speed.

the D-Link DSL-2640B given by TM for streamyx previously, also have such issue, the wireless ping would always higher than wired ping by around 3ms, pinging ip example TM own 1.9.1.9 or any other ip.

Simply TM router issues. Encounters many similar issues. I also using 2750e for many years non TM router without any weird issues . Also try lower down the wifi output power, see how come.

this message keep show up at syslog of D-Link DIR-850L, wonder what that is, anyway to fix it?

AdvRDNSSLifetime <= 2*MaxRtrAdvInterval would allow stale DNS servers to be deleted faster

Ignoring deprecated RDNSS preference.

Hi D Link,

My DIR 850L is not functioning. I tried to scan for SSID, both 5 Ghz & 2.4 Ghz was not available. I tried to configure the modem via LAN, but my LAN port doest not detect any connection from this router.
The only light that is ON is the POWER light. But sometimes after I turn it off, the globe icon blinking with orange colour
