Monaco wasn't that boring back then. It started when FIA made the cars bigger and heavier. It also introduce lots of aerodynamic stuffs which make dirty air a huge problem. Back then the camera was so focus on the tunnel exit because surely there will be a lunge as the tyre wears off.

If FIA reintroduce refueling then there will be a bigger window to play around the strategy. Right now it's just tyre. Imagine back then, qualifying with a light fuel load to get in front, then messed up your opponent's strategy by holding them up. Instead now you get undercut overcut. Kinda sienz...
