I think RBR is kidding themselves the longer they delve into the debate. They should focus on winning it. If they could overturn this, imagine what it will be like for future races. Everyone will file for review and revise punishment. Even Max is avoiding the debate which is brilliant IMO. It sucks but move on.

Young racers like MV, Leclerc etc they all built up a reputation for being crazily aggressive which is why others have been taking avoiding actions or didnt race wheel to wheel with them regularly. You dont know when they will explode. However, maybe Lewis aggression might signal a change in the grid. Hope the older guys will give these youngsters a taste of their own medicine.

Yes, but you forgot that Merc took an aerodynamic hit with this year's regulation. So they're pretty much neck and neck when it comes to power/aerodynamic compromise.

Spa and Monza would be the best power track to test the Merc vs RBR. Unfortunately spa never materialised. Monza would be interesting to watch

Yup it will be interesting to see how Monza will end up but I have the feeling it's close again where RB will not be far behind if not ahead because they have been strong everywhere.

That looming RB engine penalty puts things into perspective of how the rules can be sometimes blatantly unfair. MV has been robed of at minimum 40pts if not 50 from the 2 incidents yet he'd still be penalized some more thru no fault of his. However all these provide a grand stand setup for the title fight to the end, so I am very happy for that! Lol If not for those it would have been another boring championship, just with MV far ahead.

Negative fans would view him in negative ways regardless how much he achieved versus a couple of bad moments he had. I believed true F1 fans would view him in a different light. Schumi had an unbelievable 4stop in 2004 French GP and still won the race. Of course a couple of his victories are gifted from Rubens but undoubtedly there are reasons as to why he was cherished so much by fans especially the tifosi after he joined the winless Ferrari along with Ross Brawn and Jean Todt.
