QUOTE(4WD_er @ Jul 28 2021, 11:47 AM) Typical for Horner and Marko. Die die want LH to be punished harder. If they don't do it, their chance of getting the the WDC will be fading away coz Typically LH is very strong in the second half of the season. QUOTE(6UE5T @ Jul 28 2021, 08:22 PM) QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Jul 29 2021, 08:42 AM) I think RBR is kidding themselves the longer they delve into the debate. They should focus on winning it. If they could overturn this, imagine what it will be like for future races. Everyone will file for review and revise punishment. Even Max is avoiding the debate which is brilliant IMO. It sucks but move on. I think this is normal practice. Only usually it's not known to the public. Mercedes, Ferrari all did it before. This case somehow got sensationalized.Young racers like MV, Leclerc etc they all built up a reputation for being crazily aggressive which is why others have been taking avoiding actions or didnt race wheel to wheel with them regularly. You dont know when they will explode. However, maybe Lewis aggression might signal a change in the grid. Hope the older guys will give these youngsters a taste of their own medicine. |

QUOTE(outpace @ Aug 2 2021, 11:18 PM) Yup, like Raikkonen getting 10 seconds for unsafe release that took out Mazepin, but they say win and and lose as a team QUOTE(sphiroth @ Aug 3 2021, 08:14 AM) Yes. But IF the supplied supplied sensor from FIA is giving the wrong data, is it still AM faults? Totally agree, some things aren't driver's fault as it is team management fault.Anyway, I think FIA need to reduces these post-race scrutineering and try to make it pre-race when possible... Just to avoid changes is race result. |

QUOTE(skylinelover @ Sep 5 2021, 01:42 PM) It's the 2nd seat curse. and as I said when he was signed, he is overated. Force India never made any progress with him despite being there so long. Change name to Aston Martin and suddenly team performance improve. |

QUOTE(ctw88 @ Sep 7 2021, 08:26 PM) Yes, but you forgot that Merc took an aerodynamic hit with this year's regulation. So they're pretty much neck and neck when it comes to power/aerodynamic compromise. Spa and Monza would be the best power track to test the Merc vs RBR. Unfortunately spa never materialised. Monza would be interesting to watch Actually I dont care who wins Also, Max will have to take an engine penalty eventually. So there's no clear advantage yet in terms of title chances QUOTE(6UE5T @ Sep 8 2021, 01:07 AM) No I don't forget that. That's largely why Merc is behind RB now, otherwise they'd be ahead again just like previous years. IMO the RB car is a good car this year, not great. The rest is down to the team and driver. The Merc still is the best out there but not by a big margin. That being said, MV is a better driver this year as he can wring the performance out of the car.Yup it will be interesting to see how Monza will end up but I have the feeling it's close again where RB will not be far behind if not ahead because they have been strong everywhere. That looming RB engine penalty puts things into perspective of how the rules can be sometimes blatantly unfair. MV has been robed of at minimum 40pts if not 50 from the 2 incidents yet he'd still be penalized some more thru no fault of his. However all these provide a grand stand setup for the title fight to the end, so I am very happy for that! Lol If not for those it would have been another boring championship, just with MV far ahead. |

Finally McLaren wins again. The MV and LH looks like MX giving LH his butt(literally) lol. I somehow got the feeling Mercedes' reign is about to end and another team will start to dominate. Alpine and especially McLaren seems to be improving a lot.

QUOTE(andrekua2 @ Sep 20 2021, 11:57 PM) Negative fans would view him in negative ways regardless how much he achieved versus a couple of bad moments he had. I believed true F1 fans would view him in a different light. Schumi had an unbelievable 4stop in 2004 French GP and still won the race. Of course a couple of his victories are gifted from Rubens but undoubtedly there are reasons as to why he was cherished so much by fans especially the tifosi after he joined the winless Ferrari along with Ross Brawn and Jean Todt. I don't really hate him that much but I agree with Guest. He did show great speed and talent when he started but then his subsequent actions especially when he was already dominating really turned me off. I think the word would be "unsporting". Part of his success, like Hamilton is due to a good car. |

I am a motor racing fan. My priority used to be F1, MotoGP, WSBK, WRC and the rest. Last few years my priority became MotoGP, F1, WSBK. Since 2 years ago become MotoGP, WSBK, F1. No doubt my interest in F1 has waned. I expect next year will lose more interest with the retirement of Raikonnen. MotoGP still interesting with the arrival of younger talents and the reducing dominance of MM. WSBK getting more interesting with close racing at the top, especially this year.

Stewards gave favour to LH in the beginning, they gave favour back to MV in the end. Good race, unexpected ending. PS, Farewell Kimi. r2t2 liked this post

QUOTE(PowerSlide @ Dec 13 2021, 12:38 AM) kimi being kimi lol the driver today is surely checo, that was a fair and hard racing with lewis yet complain its dangerous lol too many complain in f1 these days QUOTE(6UE5T @ Dec 13 2021, 12:48 AM) Yup agree Checo's defense was again top class! Actually if there's 1 thing that MV can still learn from SP is this, how to defend hard yet fair. In MV's words "Checo is God!". Really good moves by him, he will probably get a good bonus for this, heck, he probably earned an extension to his contract. Also I do not agree Toto complaining to FIA to stop it by saying it is getting dangerous. Good call by FIA on that saying they are racing.Another good candidate for DotD I think is Yuki cuz he managed to finish 4th ahead of Gasly but unfortunately unnoticed due to the fight and drama at the front. |
