they are just setup differently, merc is not all about top speed but cornering instead so on other track merc are too fast for the rest..merc still the best car balance on all tracks

Merc aren't performing due to cooling issues. Seems like when racing takes place in hot climate, Merc and Ferrari are vulnerable. Honda looks like they excel in hot weather racing.
