Malaysian driver refuse to understand fog lamp usage. Pattern 1: use fog lamp to see pothole + better vision + (buy already use lor) Pattern 2: use hazard light to increase car visibility when heavy pouring rain
Anyway, it is legal in Malaysia. Enjoy guys
hate those fxxxers who turn on the hazard light during rain, and those who on their rear fog lamp at night when it is not raining/foggy.
Hi Guys! I just got my car around 2 months. So far i am just satisfy with that fuel consumption and also that car play feature.
But found out the stock engine seems like having lag in response, was looking at the ECU remap. Anyone did remap? I am actually looking at Hondata currently but not sure what is the downside.
first downside imo is after you flash the ecu, they will do a dyno, which for a new car I will feel heart pain to do
u mean it is normal behaviour for the engine to die off and i have to restart the engine again? but according to mcchin, the engine should continue running when i press the brake + start button instead of dying off
it shouldn't die off, firstly, after your auto start, you need to press brake + press start button, then only can engage into any gear. and drive off. if your engine die, could be due to electrical, better check with service center
anyone here installed the door step plates? any recommendations? also i am thinking to put the door handle sticker to prevent scratches.
door steps are cheap and easily available, and they are plug and play too, very easy to install
as for handle sticker, it looks simple, but actually quite difficult to install to perfection. It is recommended if you dont want the handle area scratched.
That may be the case, but more than a couple of times now I've experienced the brake grinding in my Civic -- happens when I let go of the brake right as the auto breaker engages. The car will lurch forward a little with a horrible grinding sound before coming to a stop.
Never happened to the HRV. Anyone experienced this before?
that means its your lazy foot that comes off before the car comes to a standstill.
doesnt happen to HRV because every car is different
Hi , Wanna ask . Can replacing the stock bulbs (low beam) with Night Breaker or Philips Crystal Vision consider an upgrade in term of brightness? Cause lumen wise , stock bulb is 1350. NB is also 1350 lumen while Crystal V is 900lumens. Can anyone advise ? thx
I challenge your lumen numbers.
NB is brighter than stock, thus cannot be same @ 1350 lumens and CV cannot be only 900 lumens, this will mean it is downgrade to dimmer light
Im qouting specs obtained from official websites and ask for advice from ppl who know .. no need to challenge what numbers 😄Pls read properly and dont jump straight to Reply button. Im not selling bulbs or something 😆
No one is accusing you of selling any bulb, Challenging your statement is nothing wrong, that's what you stated anyway.
There are 3 type of NB namely Xenarc NB Laser, NB Laser and NB Silver, all offers higher lumens than original bulb by 200, 150 & 100% brightness, it cannot be the same as original bulb in lumens else there is no value in buying them
You did state it is from official websites, kindly provide your source so not to be challenged.
not comparing these two at all. some guy was saying NB cannot be xxx lm and CV cannot be xxx lm. so i just post those two items only. why do i bother my headlights are fully led 😁😁
chill bro, must compare two similar grade products otherwise it defeats the purpose
NB also has many grades and CV is in different grade, not to also include that the statement also stated our stock bulb is same lumens as NB @ 1350 lumens which is impossible.
again, not comparing. just showing the Lumen ratings of both the items. i have no idea what lumens/K/etc ratings are. the NB spec sheet does show 1350 so since there was a "discussion" in previous posts, i just uploaded it only
ok, thanks for uploading and sharing
I was challenging the original bulb lumens. anyway, please dont get carried away. chill man.
Hi all, gonna join the club next week and doing some research for tint and coating.
Would like to ask if anyone have installed 3M Crystalline on their civic, how much will it cost?
My SA recommend me LLumar with RM700 rebate. Not sure if 3M is offering the same tinting material with lower price.
Feel free to recommend any detailers from Klang Valley area too.
Cheers!
I installed 3M Crystalline and no regrets.
Dont be tempted by SA rebate, they will give you a voucher, which you will need to go to specific shop, actually the voucher is where they will get their commission from the shop. without the voucher price is actually cheaper.
Open pod sometimes does cause a drop in low end torque. So, that is something you have to be mindful of. It does not always pickup power across the range.
drop in type, noticed pickup is less powerful when I floor it. Didn't go for dyno la.... Just my feeling and dont know it is true or not, that's why asking any sifu here have the same experience.
I can tell you i have the same setup as you but with a down and front pipe swapped. Can feel nothing. Nada, Zilch....
At best, picked up a few horses here and there. Not finalized yet and don't feel like buying a flashpro yet. So, just let it be for now.
Now left a few items (if i were to do it) in the list which is the mishimoto oil catch can as mishimoto hq confirmed those meant for lhd units in us will not fit rhd units in asia. Then, a full i/c swap with hard pipes, turbo blanket if it appears here, a koyorad hyper-v series rad, some brake upgrades, a more robust dfv and finally the rear section of the exhaust and a flashpro to top it all off
wow, thats over kill for me.....
I am contemplating whether to remove and put back the stock air filter or not. one thing i noticed, fuel consumption is better with k&n
