The reason I am posting it only now is for me to get my car delivered first, otherwise I might not be able to even get the car. I have since collected my car. Below is the story line:-
Had my worst encounter with Honda SA in my life. The so called Assistant Manager named David of Tenaga Setia Jalan 217 PJ. He wanted to provoke me to cancel order so that he can sell the car to higher offerers.
My car was booked before GST abolishment and supposed to be delivered before Raya but It was delayed and delayed. He told me to cancel order if I want as Honda cars can sell by itself, no need buyers like me. Can take my money and go.
He even told me, you know who you are talking to or not, I am the assistant manager you know, I am not any sales man and I am the Manager in charge, u think I need to check your car for you? You think you are Datuk’s son or somebody? If you not happy just cancel your order and go. And even challenged me to complaint to Honda Malaysia if I want, no action can be taken against him as he will be the person taking the complaint call even if the complaint comes.
This is the attitude of an Assistant Manager of a reputable Japanese Automotive Company! The reputation is built by us, supporters and now they are getting arrogant.
Avoid Honda Tenaga Setia Jalan 222 (David) at all cost. Never ever buy from arrogant SA!!!!

How do you think the car price will be lower than now which is tax free...
Unless they reduce airbags, put steel rims, change to Milo tin...
Which could reduce another 30k making it 70k
*
they already reduced it by abolishing GST la.

*
u can change at any accessory shop, but bear in mind please try first as some LED bulbs interfere with your radio.

Yeah when I visited tenaga setia, the SA couldnt tell me how long I have to wait for arrival of stock. Only tell me civic always no stock so better pay booking fee first to secure your slot. How to pay when I don’t even know if my car will arrive in 1, 2 or 3 months?? Went to book elsewhere. Service wise wasn’t great but I got my car within the timeline she promised. That’s all it matters I guess. I reckon that’s the level of service u get with demand > supply.
*
I did my booking before the GE, and was promised a timeline of 1.5 months, and might even get a car allocated if someone fails to secure loan. Dont know why applefreak and knightSports received unknown arrival time when they enquired at Tenaga Setia.

Anyhow, at first I was offered a different coloured car, with excuse it is extra unit which was turned down. After the GST Tax Holiday announcement, things started to change for the worst, promises being delayed and delayed.

Only few days before the collection, this Assistant Manager threatened me to cancel order, and daring me to complaint to Honda Malaysia.

Sorry, my cpu never ever throttle because I run a 280mm aio rad on a cpu that never see a 50% utilization over any lengthy period.

Anyways, this led shit is too costly and too complicated for me. I will just stick back to halogen.

If is not saving my battery nor petrol, not worth the effort
*
there are cheap and expensive LED in the market, cheap ones cost only RM30 bucks for a pair, haha

Noob here. Im in the middle of saving the money to buy aa... Well, cant tell for sure as both in my mind are Civic or Altis. Which one, any seniors here can give an advice?
** Please dont keep saying it's a design as I also know the Civic design is much much better.
-- Fuel consumption... Maintenance cost... Pricing... Which is less "troublemaker" and so on...
-- Hell yeah in front of me saw an expensive VW Passat suddenly jammed, I believe due to... Somtin like mechatronic box I read. Ergh!!
-- Kindly, hope Civic owners / seniors (or anyone with Altis knowledge can come out).

p/s: Im a Vios driver by the way. Not a "troublemaker", Vios I can say. NEVER rosak in 7 years already. Never.
*
vios owner better go for Altis, Toyota is known for it's reliable engine and suspension.

Civic is a good car, unless you take the 1.8, the 1.5 maintenance cost is higher than Altis
fuel comsumption - compariable, depends on how you drive

Performance and looks surely Honda win hands down

That is like car brand racism. What vios owner better go for Altis? You oughta be sued for being racist  mad.gif
*
it is true you know, if you are used to toyota - uncle brand, chances of sticking to toyota again is 70%, unless you upgrade to lexus
and if you are a honda fan, most likely you will stick to honda or even mazda, but will never go to toyota.

Those are the old days la. Now Toyota catch up already. Their safety features are now aligned across between the Corolla lineup.

Apart from not having a turbo eco engine, most of the things are more or less there.

And if options are counted, they have auto fold mirrors and panoramic view monitor for those who fail at parking.

The only thing weird is they charge you for extra USB charging ports.
More airbags does not always mean more superior la. Just more spec'ed up.

Airbag blow out is not a fun thing. If you have to pay betterment that time, it might hurt you as some airbags are blardy expensive to replace.
*
I was just replying to andyshim because he thought altis 1.8 only has 2 airbag

yup. no fun if airbag explode and it is expensive to replace, but it saves lifes, and it is worth it to have extra protection. Besides, it will be covered by insurance

Anyway, i smell some plastic smell at my bonnet every time I drive back and pack at car porch..

If it normal ? Cos still new?
*
its not c class, but c segment. haha

congratulations on your new ride, u will definitely get very excited with the ride, now to mention the power as compared to a myvi.

the smell is normal as it is still new, many parts need to run in. as soon as you know, you want to smell this smell also no more chance. haha, unless you buy a new ride again. need to pay to get the smell.

please be more specific as left rear tire got noise can be from anything - something sticking to it, nail in the wheel, bearing, anything.

Anyone know if we can buy super capacitor jump start devices in Malaysia?

cheaper ones will be those power banks that can start your car, begins at MYR1++, it works but for how long is questionable.

Before I forget how it initially felt, just my personal comparative experience  in the new car :

Sentra N16 (2004) manual to Civic FC 1.8:

Better:
> More pliant and plush suspension. Noticeably a more comfortable ride across uneven roads. Very surprising , since the car seems lower and the rims are 1 inch larger.
> ABS, EBD, VSA, touchscreen, USB ports, fuel, travel gauges .. Plenty of electronics to assist!
> auto lock, keyless.
> Quieter interior.

Mainly worse due to all the plastics!:
> The rear seat cushion doesn't cover up to the door. Instead there is a hard plastic section between the door and rear seat.
> Plastic oil dipstick?!
> Plastic door unlock knob looks cheap and flimsy. Old sentra was Chrome and firmly fitted.
> black unpainted plastic for the window switches and the arm rests.

> The center console is quite tall, very tight spacing to insert the seatbelt buckle.
>Seat fabric feels cheap.

Major difference!
The steering is TOO LIGHT! Could anyone advice if there is any in car settings or how can the steering be made to feel more weighted?

During >50kmh corners the Civic seems to help you turn in more, and it's abit scary coming from the sentra with a more direct/ raw steering . I feel abit disconnected, disjointed  to the Civic, it seems to have a layer in between me and the actual car. Perhaps it tries to shield me from some of the more personal tremors that the car is feeling.

But overall, yes Civic is an upgrade.

Thanks.
*
the steering feel is because this is Electric Power Steering as compared to Hydraulic Power Steering.

Nice. Does it come with the velcro to secure the mat?
*
any brands outside that comes with the small hole which will fit exactly to our Civic's original position? If you noticed there are two holes and a pin or something to secure our original pads to the floor, so that it doesnt move
