Ahh the cover you didn't change to say a black metal instead? Would match your rims better. Looks like the internal version seems more complete. I might grab a lite for now, then eventually get the internal version when I replace my tires ... or maybe the external sensor would work fine also (aside from potential being pinched). Just worried people would see the display, then see the 4 sensors they would just break your glass for it ._. even more trouble.

The cover i changed to matching pair by continental, well i already ordered another set of 'type r' steam cover from shopee. oh if this is your approach to go for external first, do look for a set that comes with both internal and external, i came across that while browsing. That way you don't have to purchase 2 times and spent way too much money.

External ones does have security lock mechanism, but with correct wrench can be easily taken, but who would want that, each sensors is already coded to it's display unit, stealing the sensors would have to hardware reset it and code it to it's respective receiver. The reason i didn't pick up the external one is because of the looks only la tongue.gif

No chance, I searched all over. It’s either internal or external 😅. Those probably had both images in the photo. I even checked 70mai official store at AliExpress.

I doubt the reading can be accurate or reliable, afaik those cars that comes with actual tpms do also have the sensors installed in the wheel itself.

I guess i was being fooled by the promo image too, i clearly made up my mind on internal so any external sensors ones i didn't tap in and have a look, my bad.

For USDM Civics, they actually have "TPMS" but it is the same ABS method by measuring wheel speed. This feature didn't make it here but I guess the system is able to extract that info too.

Yeah, I think so as well. I might just get the Lite since easier to install.

Ya the GT spec does have the TPMS warning but it doesn't have the pressure readings. Meanwhile the after market one that reads from obd2 has readings, that why i'm puzzled.

Hi guys, I am primarily interested in the Civic TCP because of the included Honda Sensing at this price range.

I have read reviews of Honda Sensing in this thread, and some of the reviews only mention the annoying-ness of LKAS dragging the car close to the divider and ACC not breaking the car suddenly and hard etc, is there any positive reviews of Honda Sensing so far?

Also I was wondering if there is any way to rent a Honda Sensing equipped car for a few days to give it a longer term test myself, because the 10 minutes test drive doesn't give a good feel of the system for day to day driving.

Hey. Honda Sensing is widely regarded as one of the better ADAS systems out there, so I think it’s quite a safe choice.

In my own experience, I do notice the LKAS pulling my car at times, but this is due to bad road lines, if any. Where the lines are clear, it works very well.

Haven’t tried ACC yet cause of the MCO, but so far it’s been good for me. Rarely interferes with my driving. Driven about 800-900km already.

I will turn on LKAS, ACC whenever I go on highway. So far it is working very very well, especially if car ahead slow down at the highway. The only time when speed reduced sharply was a car suddenly cut into my lane. For me it is a essential feature to have. Also loving LKAS as it is auto cruising now on the highway.

For the new 2020 Civic, here's some update :
1. There is no Honda navigation installed in the HU.
2. funnel for fuel in tool kit not supplied. It's not mentioned in the manual so i guess by its by default.
