"engine break in uncle" mode  tongue.gif

then how come only 800km, your engine oil left only 5.1K, means have to change oil at about 5.8k?

engine oil life so short? i thought it's 10K service interval

Yup, supposingly should be 10k service change.

Why it shows only 5.1.? Error?
*
is it error or the engine oil memang cannot tahan so long. that will translate to higher maintenance cost,

Civic owners, please enlighten

New owners of the 1.5TC and 1.5TC-P are advised to read page 1 FAQs. Most of your questions has already been answered there - especially on your Maintenance Minder system question.
*
thank you for your advise. I understand the FAQ on first page, but can anyone enlighten me how many KM usually you get before changing your engine oil. I k, ,understand the more severe you use your turbo, it is faster, but rougtly how many km? 5k, 6k, 7k, 8k, 9k or 10k?

thanks

so, with new law abolishing GST, wonder Honda Civic will be cheaper without GST (with excise duty + Sales Tax) or more expensive?

If you google Paul T’s website there’s a post on price adjustments after GST, I think it’s more expensive without GST.
*
Wonder how much more expensive it will be?

I actually booked a Civic before election, dont know which price i'll have to pay now

Just got my car end of May, and realized there is 2 scratches below the driver side mirror although is not that obvious. I show to my SA and he said will try to polish when 1k km service. After i went to SC last week they said polish cant remove the scratches and will submit claim form to HMSB. Today just informed me HMSB refuse to claim and said this is external defect but this is totally new car and scratches is not done by me as well. Any solutions for me? Call HM hotline and Fuxk them hard? I need some advise from you all thanks
*
when you notice the scratches?
did they pick it up when they were doing PDI?

usually if complaint sure they will get it repainted for you, unless they suspect or say it is scratched by yourself

Actaully i got the car around 1pm and my SA keep talk to me and i have no time to check then at the same day i found out this scratches and second day morning i back to SC and show them. Then they said will try to settle when 1k service. Now dealer also ask me call HMSB

* i didnt know the PDI because they said they done the inspection then make the registration already i only saw my car when collection
*
if within one day u have a case la. if SA dont want to entertain, then no choice need to complaint to HMSB lo, but your SA also not doing his job la, tell him nicely if he cannot claim for you, how to recommend other friends to buy from him? tongue.gif

Thanks for the feedback bro.😀 I didn't notice any smell when going down hill, only when going up and accelerating at quite high speeds.🤔 Could the tires be causing the burnt smell even when going up hill?
*
maybe it is just the running in of your engine and others parts. shouldn't be a big concern.

Visited Kah Motor Penang today to meet with Public Bank loan officer, 70k loan for 5 years at 2.46% p.a. interest rate, not sure can get approved or not since I'm freelancing for US companies recently only came back to Malaysia since April, so not a whole lot of local pay history, worst case pay cash upfront. My car ETA is mid July.

Also confirmed with my SA the OTR without insurance cost of my modern steel metallic TC-P is RM122,931 after 0% GST and Raya rebate.

On top of that he offered the following accessories:

- Modulo wing/trunk spoiler — RM750
- Modulo LED sidestep — RM450
- Modulo door visor (with chrome lining at top he said, original no chrome lining?) — RM350
- Trunk tray — RM160
- Door protector film — RM260
- HyperGard tinting front 95%, side and rear 80% TSR — RM1,700
- GM-Tech premium diamond coating (is this the same as ceramic pro?) — RM1,700

I'm thinking of getting all of these and sports pedal (he's checking price before quoting me that), is this a good idea? I've never heard of HyperGard (seems like a local brand) and GM-Tech (local brand also) but both the tinting and coating come with 5 year local warranty.

getting from outside is cheaper

Thanks alot for the explanation sifu. i've just checked with my SA, he said can order the TCP's headlamp from Honda and they will assemble for us with a cost of 4k+.. thinking is it worth it. because no need to worry about voiding warranty haha
*
totally not worth it, it's only 7k difference between TC and TCP, 4k+ for headlamp conversion is overkill. u should order TCP then.

Maybe it makes sense in that way.

The only really interesting bit for me is that if i were a constant traveler. The unlimited roaming bit is an enticing thing. Paying RM38 daily is painful if you travel constantly.
*
RM38 roaming is still chargeable, only thing is unlimited use. depends it is good or not...... but still expensive

I gave them a piece of my mind. Without informing buyers who has the loan approved and confirm purchase before June is like stealing and cheating to make more profit.
