TCP will have garmin Nav system installed
you just press on the nav and let it connect to satellites

though, using Carplay (iOS) or Android Auto seems much better

hmn, my TCP doesnt seems to have Nav in the main menu wo... I'm using Waze in CarPlay, so far very happy.

Okay

As a owner for 2.5 years
Let's see

1. Paint is thin as fuark, front bonnet have 3-4 salt size chipping, and the car is a garage queen

2. Unlike LHD , our RHD is good. Why? The empty space where LHD will have the push start button, outs is flat empty space.
Use a magnetic style phone holder and the area fits even my OnePlus 7 pro

3. Original tyres MC5 started to be too much of a nuisance, but situation far from stable. Guess have to withstand it some more

4. White colour is a pain to upkeep, with parking having over head cover only. Dust oils etc is collected and exacerbate with sweepings rain drops...

5.Originals wiper inserts are 5mm width, very uncommon. Learnt lesson when bought some PIAA inserts that is not compatible. The only compatible PIAA silicon inserts are found at Amazon Japan.... Cost 120 ish (include shipping)

6. Bulb light is low, 1.8s , so changed to Osram NBU, but honestly speaking, not much different. Burnt one side the other day, now back to original bulbs. Incoming is H9 bulb conversion, and going to try out the Osram Blue Advance H9. Hope it get closer to the DRLs

7. My Amaron battery is almost 1 year, with original lasted for me at 1.5 years. Need to check if the battery life still good

All in all good car

IIHS rated the headlight poor.

The IIHS tested three different variations of headlights on the Civic. Available LED headlights received the best safety rating of “Good,” while the Halogen headlights found on base and lower-trim Civics receive an overall safety rating of “Poor.”

Car equipped with front sensor usually have a button to disable them, most drivers would have it disabled only enabled when you need parking confirmation.

3. I changed the new tyres around 10km as I checked the review for the tyres was so so. Therefore, I just changed it since I need to travel outstation occasionally

5. Are you using PIAA Silicon now?? How is the review ?? All good ?? 😁

6. Using FC LED headlight now, noticeably brightness then original bulb

Well my 2.5 year car only around 20plus km maybe a bit more before changing over to primacy 4

Bought 1 set but wrong type 6mm instead of 5mm
On my old car so far (less than 1 year) seems okay, out in the elements

Hidplanet have a lot of data to compare between types
But the original bulb is those long life type , so the lumens is quite low

Here's my driving setup

Ahh, but the Civic has even a button to disable the rear sensors so I think front sensor should have as well?

The other car I had experience with front sensors, can disable front sensors (but not the back).

I agree its abit annoying but i kinda got used to it. it happens whenever bikes drive by or near autogate. i dont think 3 or 4 cars distance will trigger the beep though..

Theres actually a button near Start Stop to disable the front and back sensor quickly (both at same time). If i remember correctly, theres also a way to off the front sensor permanently through a set of instructions.
