Get an android phone. Use it for Android Auto and spare phone. iPhone as main phone and messages. That's what I do.

Waze for HU is not supported under iOS. Only Apple Maps is available for iOS. The other option is to jail break iOS to run Waze on HU.

Plenty of choice out there, do your research. I bought an Oppo A57, pretty decent and iOS like interface. Good enough for Waze and Google Maps. My only complain, there is no Android upgrade from Oppo. It is Android 6 by default.

Note : Android Auto requires Android 5 as minimum OS version.

So far the problem I encounter, is not able to launch AA or not detect AA on the HU. Sometimes need to reboot HU and phone to solve the problem. So far have not done any reinstall of AA, Waze & Google Maps and no need to clear cache. AA have been updated a few times for newer version. My phone Oppo A57 stuck with Android 6 since no OS upgrade from Oppo. Only have some minor security updates.

Anyone knows how turn off Google weather report during Waze navigation ?
When driving with Waze and sometimes Google too smart, pop up the screen for weather report. I would have to select the touch screen back to Waze while still driving. Really annoying.

I think it is not possible since AA take over. Just use a headset for iphone.

I just received my insurance quotation, which insured RM116K for second year. They send me two different quotations with HIP, one from MSIG and the the other Tokio Marine. MSIG is quoted lower by about RM250 compare to Tokio. This is rather unusual for me, for years of renewing car insurance, I never receive two offers. My first year is under Tokio Marine.

Is MSIG good ?

I m in the same boat, suppose to do it in January for Service A. Call up SC, they say can still drive. I almost forgot about it. Recently check still have 1800 km engine oil left. I think I better do it soon.

Also have to fix boot leaking at right side . Only happens when raining.

Some owners have this issue, read it in fb civic groups. Now it happen to me after 3 years owning it.

Who knows maybe your new car don't have this problem. After a few years in the market, hopefully Honda have fix/improve it.

IMO Google Map or Waze is way much better.

I just use Waze only for Carplay via iPhone 11 (iOS 13.5.1). No issues.

In the video, he mention 18" michelin tyres since it's 2020 model. I wonder if change tyres from 17" to 18" for older Civic TCP, will it be good handling ?
