Didn't back in January lol, got rm1.5k tint voucher and rebate lu
Serious, I collected in Glenmarie. Car stopped in the middle of the road in front of Hyundai. Fyi Honda and Hyundai is next to each other lmao. The SA passed by la and he panicked. Rush to petrol station nearby and get RM10 petrol.
*
you never fxxx the SA nicely????? make so much commission from you and yet so kedekut, even petrol also dont want to pump for you. 2nd, make a complaint to the branch manager and also honda malaysia. sure you will get compensated with some goodies. 3rd the sales man makan your petrol voucher oledi, because new cars all come with petrol voucher for them to pump for you. he will get into trouble with his boss for sure.

SA got offer Ecotint vouchers.

Just a question. Can I ask the tint shop to remove the obnoxious Ecotint logo?
*
off course you can ask them to remove the sticker, or you remove it yourself lo. just peel off

SA offer ecotint, how much is it to install? check first without the voucher price and with voucher price. I was told by the shop people that the voucher actually acts as a introduction slip, they will need to reimburse commission to the SA for every voucher used, and they actually mark up from their price.

I slowly tried to accelerate from 80 to 130 my car engine sound is heavy. Even I pump Ron 97 and I service 2 week ago.

Anyone encounter the same issue?
*
hot afternoon? the Turbo actually is sensitive especially on hot day, will lose some efficiency. but overall wont be heavy from 80-130 la, should be very easy to reach that speed

Any recommended brake pads for this car? Or the original brake pad is good enough? Anyone tried aftermarket brake pad?
*
original brake pads are good, and dust free, only set back is expensive

you can upgrade to green stuff, this are kevlar brake pads, very good

or cheaper range will be metal king, good bite but lots of dust.

Anyone here changed their own Aircond Filter (the one under dashboard) and Engine Filter (the one inside the boot) by themselves to OEM?

I changed mine yesterday outside for RM50 for both coz i see honda charged around RM100 for each.

Then today i sent my car for service, then I’ve been told to change to their original filter or else they will VOID my car WARRANTY? Anyone experience this before?
*
engine filter inside the boot? first time i hear got engine filter inside the boot!

hey, this is front engine car, how can engine filter inside the boot?? rclxub.gif

Asking again since no reply.

Based on my oil change indicator, my first oil change is going to be around 6.5k km. I have been driving for 3 weeks currently @ 1.5k km. Is this normal? I have 2 friends driving same car but their first oil change is 9k++ km.
*
it is normal, my car first oil change was at 7.5k. all depends on how you drive and also traffic jam or not

Many thanks, would it be possible for you guys to take a photo of the LED, not sure if this is something DIY-able , would like to install this on my own or get accesory shop to install it.

try to google everywhere for the information about this LED but it is nowhere to be found.
*
off course this is do able, but might void warranty as you temper with the wiring.

it is actually very easy to do, wire to small light and ground. and stick the led at the console area.

Yeah for the current tcp the discount is tempting. For the sensing yes it’s nice to have I don’t mind as long if it’s same price with the current tcp ( without discount ) . Just afraid it will be higher than 130k . 😕 dilemma
*
sure going to be higher, especially with the depreciation of our MYR, expect prices to go up

FYI, Toyota Camry just increased price by 7K due to depreciation of MYR as the car is procured from Country of Smiles (TH), now 1 MYR = 7.5 TBH only

Hi guys, going to renew my civic insurance soon. Heard that if we DIY by direct approach the company, we can get 10% discount. Is it true and does it worth?

How about the HIP? Any different with other?
*
I recently made a comparison and find that HIP is very much more expensive than other insurance companies, and they do not offer you the 10% discount. on top of that, no delivery service for roadtax, i need to go to Honda showroom to collect it by myself.

thus, I choose to buy from elsewhere, with lower price and better service.

Thanks for sharing, have you had any SC point out to you that doing so would void your warranty during routine services? Or they just service as usual and ignore it?
*
they will just ignore la, as it doesnt interfere with their work

On my first year HIP is RM120 more than other insurance. This is my second year and renewing this coming week. I’m still sticking with HIP despite Rm150 more and lower insured value by RM4k.

The reason is per the attached photo below.
They have 100% payout on theft for 10 years, no excess clause, and 100% payout on accident repair
I figured that rm150 extra per year is worth it
*
good for you. My difference is RM400. thats why I bought different insurance now that comes with agreed value rather than market value, no excess too.

The fuel capacity is 47 litre right?

Why the gas pump auto switch off at around 39 litre? Can I top up more to make it 47 after the auto off?
*
yes, it is 47 L Capacity, but you still have petrol in your tank when you refill, thus only 39L and it stopped, unless you fill from empty you can reach 47-48L, hose maybe can get 1-2L, but that is dangerous.

it is also not recommended to do so, as petrol sometimes have residues and water content, which sinks to the bottom, when you reach such danger levels, you are actually using those dirty petrol.

this is not quite true if u saw ur fuel tank before. The pump suction tubing is all the way down to the very bottom of the tank.
*
off course it is all the way down to the bottom, otherwise wont be able to suck out every drop of petrol. BTW, it is protected by fuel stainer too, but common sense should prevail, for example, never pump fuel when the fuel delivery truck is there dispensing fuel into the petrol stations reservoir as it will create a lot of turbulence and stir all the residues up.

*
No, if you go direct to insurance company, it will not be HIP anymore. HIP can only be done @ Honda.
