After the lacklustre first half, we managed to comeback stronger and penetrate huddersfield defense

Finally a win in PL after series of draw and losses, if only we can maintain this kind of intensity all season long

So good to have a win and 3 points. Clean sheet is a bonus.

you guys forget this is home game? of course gini will perform better than usual

Got to give him credit for that quality goal there.

But nop, he is still shit. As usual missing in the midfield, then lurking at the front asking for ball but doesnt open up spaces. Not to mention tons of heavy and mispass to teammate despite no pressure from opponent.

Good result tonight. Clean sheet and 3 points. Hope this will continue. Average performance by the team but they got the job done im Happy with that.

Lovren is shit as usual. Even though he don't play. And ffs give back milner to be 1st penalty taker.

Let's not get carried away here. We were really poor in the first half, it was like watching 11 strangers playing together for the first time.

It took a defensive error from their end to open up the game with the first goal. After that it opened even wider with a rare set piece goal. The third was just a bonus because they were chasing the game.

Most important takeaway from the game is that we still struggle to break down buses unless we're fortunate enough to be gifted a goal. The lack of creativity from midfield is more apparent than ever and this is as urgent as fixing our defence in my opinion.

"Jurgen Klopp has been assured he’ll have every penny of Philippe Coutinho’s transfer fee available to reinvest- if the Brazilian leaves."

FSG has started their PR move.

Sure even Southampton will remain steadfast on their VVD and won't back down for cheap.

It's suggested money will go to VVD n 1 extra player. Looks like we never had provisions for VVD in the first place (when everyone said LFC shdnt give in to high demands from Southampton)

Sterling, Suarez and probably couthinho big money sale. Rodgers had the backing for big transfers (over 3 1/2years) Klopp not quite there yet (FSG board)

The genius in Klopp already spent half of it on Ox la.

Even if he get every penny, not sure what player he can attract. Can't even attract VVD.

Even Klopp was surprised with Ox last minute signing. He's a club signing to break even our transfer business. Another season with positive net spending will put the owner under heavier criticisms. Most managers don't have a luxury like Wenger to has full control over players signing. This is not FM game and it's not how we operate.

not blindly blame la. We are upset that the club don't provide backup solution if plan A didn't work.

plan B player not up to quality? you mean there are no better player than lovren and klavan available? do you realize how dumb you sound? sorry i was not trying to personal attack you but this season failure is completely klopp fault. let me list down why

1) no plan B on tactic. last season bpl teams already know how to break liverpool play. this season liverpool still playing the same tactic, there is a reason why we score much less and concede more goals this season
2) defensive problem actually got worse compare to br era. we need more than just vvd, you cant expect vvd alone to solve all liverpool defensive issue
3) ox signing is the dumbest signing in recent times, we overpaid a player we dont need with just a year contract left. klopp suppose to have control in all transfers and if he didnt know, then something is really wrong with the whole transfer committee.

having said that, im giving klopp one more season to fix the above issues. im treating this season as a lost cause, anything good (a trophy or top 4) will be treated as a bonus.

Ya can't get VVD, there should be a good number of defenders who would want to come. Yet, he sold Sakho who in my opinion is our best defender, and continued starting Lovren and Mignolet who in my opinion won't even start for Everton.
