everything i think about Klopp uttering those words, i just feel sad for him, for having to say what he doesnt mean.

no one can deny that. they got a player in return for losing their best player. Kept their 2nd best player. Signed another star striker (one that i think is overrated though). while we lost our best individual player because "it's a fucking dream move" and couldnt get any player because "it's difficult to do business in the January".

we also lose our ex-2nd best player sturridge with no notable replacement, or should i say replace by back from injury ings. we show no ambition by not signing a cb before season start, we show no ambition again by selling our best player without replacement....top 4 is the best we can hope, dont even think about any trophy for next few years

sigh true..

this is not how i envisioned the transfer window to end for us when we wrapped up VvD before the window even opened. but then again, it was foolish of me to expect anything more from FSG... on one hand i hope Klopp would walk out due to disagreement; on the other i hope he stays and keep doing what he has done so far. The fact that he has not painted FSG in negative colours would mean the latter is more likely, and at this point it's really unknown if it's better for the club.

If Leicester managed to keep hold of Mahrez despite him submitting transfer request twice in a span of 6 months, Liverpool is practically a smaller club than Leicester.

Leicester might be reluctant to sell because it is so late towards the window. Even Leicester fucking city is not willing to sell unless they have a replacement.

What does that say about us when we sold Coutinho so early in the window but not lining up a replacement?

And yeah we didn't have to sell Coutinho. But because it's his dream move so we had no choice LMAO.
RT @hirstclass - Leicester holding firm on Mahrez
- MCFC still nowhere near meeting their valuation (£75m+)
- Leicester under no pressure to sell despite transfer request
- Mahrez expected to miss game tonight as he's not in right frame of mind
- Leicester think it's unlikely deal will be done

Fun fact: Mahrez's agent is Kia Joorabchian, also Coutinho's agent.

Honestly though, if Leicester City hangs on to Mahrez I would love us to go back for him in the summer when the price is more reasonable and Leicester might finally grant him his move. Wingers/wide forwards are key to our offense and we need more options other than just Salah and Mane as good as they are on their day.
