Only when using for hotspot. Otherwise the devices on hotspot can't connect to internet.

Hi, thank you for replying. Yeah after a thorough check up, I found that battery saver is the culprit. Turned it off and everything went ok.

Okay tested it today, seems okay, battery usage does drain a little bit more.

Spotify is okay, whatsapp is okay, except youtube is slower on vpn.

Coverage is okay compare to other telco at most area.

Porting is still pending, just got porting notification after activation.

When using hotspot have to disable VPN, extra thing todo, waste some time managing VPN.

Unlimited Call have to add on for RM 8, if not credit in wallet will be deducted.

Overall first day experience is good, but should be improve without using VPN for social and music app, youtube can be cap at below 480p.

Just ported to Hotlink. If I port to Ookyo now, how long it take? Saturday and Sunday ?

Should be few minutes max. It's same owner and automated.

Not bad the service.

I dinn't know there is a trick, but in layman, ookyo said have to disabled vpn before hotspot.

how much is the cost to send a sms? i wanna port out, but cannot answer YES to the operator. seems like i have to top up just to send a sms.

You solve your problem? I believe the share-a-top-up still not working yet and there is RM0.50 transaction fee whenever you do share-a-top-up.

I believe the port out sms is from your previous telco, you dont have credit at your old telco?

Another way is to port out at hotlink/maxis shop for free, then download ookyo app to activate, you can ask Fuzzy(chatbot) to refund your credit.

no. i want to port out from ookyo to another telco (trying yoodo).

Yoodo call plan is good. Internet is not cheap now after they revise their plan.

No advantage for you. It gives escalating benefits to the one whose code you use.

Some just use it as appreciation for those who help people out here by clearing doubt/answering question. E.g. when I ported in I got asrin referral code as he answered questions on this thread to help.
