Anyone else having issue to connect to internet after upgrade to android pie?
Recently update my zenfone max pro m2.. and now cannot use vpn.. wifi only.. no call centre to ask around but contacted hotlink call centre and said many ppl having same issues..

I think there is battery saver apps that kill ookyo vpn..need to check the battery saver to turn of..

Or something like that..what phone you are using?..

Im using asus zenfone maxpro m2, tried to tweak around the settings but to no avail. ☹️

well, i did, at their fb page, called them pathetic to resort such method to keep their prepaid customer... and i knew digi is the culprit that i'm stuck because i have a friend works in maxis and he had a handful of customer experience problem port out of digi prepaid (and only digi, not others)

After tweaking here and there for sometimes..I found the solution!

After u update to android pie, somehow the system mess with the access point names.

All you need to do is.. (for asus zenfone maxpro m2)

Open settings > network & internet > mobile network > advanced > access point names

Choose your APNs and at edit access point menu, choose delete apn

Then go back to APNs menu, choose reset to default and wait for a while. After that, click back the APn that has been restored.

Then turn on/off your airplane mode and viola! Your internet is back online.

(If its not working, try reinstall the apps first before do the above steps)
