If you within the same credit card, it's not balance transfer, it's Ezypay / Ezypay Plus for MBB.

Ezypay - go participant merchant, ask merchant to do the 0% Ezypay.
Ezypay Plus - login m2u to convert your purchase which charged in bill to instalment, but interest apply.

Ezypay - http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-Cards
Ezypay Plus - http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...sonal/CRD-Cards

Balance transfer only work when you have other credit card which can do balance transfer.

your question can be interpreted differently.

"spend RM2000" --- per transaction or whole card balance (multiple transactions)?

if per transaction is RM2000, conversion to instalment after purchase is called EzyPay Plus. there is a fee. google the name.
if whole card balance (multiple transactions), then Balance Transfer instead.

Hi, may I ask about the minimum yearly income requirement, Minimum annual income:RM30,000 means you need to work at least 1 year already? I recently applied the Maybank 2 Gold on RinggitPlus but yesterday receive sms from maybank stating my application got rejected, my yearly income surely >30000 but I had only worked for 2 and half month, so I attached my latest 2 months of salary slips as instructed by the ringgitplus agent. Should I try to apply again at the Maybankard center or perhaps try to apply for another plan like the petronas one ?

Not neccessry need to work 1 year but if you have worked for only 2 months plus, the bank might have assessed you as a higher risk should you not get a confirmation from your employer etc. Many areas that the bank will assess when processing credit applications.

I will suggest only to apply after 6 months of working. That way, you will already have a constant EPF contribution.

Ur first credit card? Can try UOB, I apply with working 3 months then approved. After that my 2nd credit card which is MBB approved with no problems, since I work for more than 6 months and also have to credit history already.
