hi guys, this is my first cc and just wan to make some clarification.

i made an cc installment payment for 3k + 319 on 10th and today when i check my m2u, there is no update on the 3k installment transaction, only 319 appear as outstanding balance to settle by 26th.

Q1 : is it because the 3k has yet to be updated i need to wait a little longer or what?? also there is no statement for me to view, is it because since im new i need to wait till month end then only they will send me?

Q2 : regarding the date to make payment, how to know the cut off date of the payment as is it will fall to this month or next month? if i make a transaction on 29th it will fall into next month?

is there a way for us to change the CTA daily limit for maybank card ? told by CS it cannot be changed at this moment.

Is the bank allow us to change the m2c from visa to master?

Q1: The 3K won't appear in your statement. It will appear only on your statement date as XXX 01/12 (installment number/total installment month). But 3K still takes up your credit limite
Q2: anything before or on statement date will fall into the next payment due date. if your statement is on 28 then your purchase on 29 will be in the next month's statement

lets say i make an installment 3500 for 12 months, this means monthly i need to pay RM300, on amex card on weekend.

on 2017 October, i purchase of this installment on computer.
on 2017 November, mbb start to charge me RM300 for my installment purchase.

for Rm50 capped cash rebate,
- 2017 October i cannot spend on anything else as the installment takes up all the cash rebate buffer?
- 2017 November, i can spend up to RM1000 for RM50 monthly cash back?
or
- 2017 November, i can only spend up to RM700 for RM50 monthly cash back?

Hmm. To summarize, your installment will take up your credit limit but not your monthly cash back.

And how do you control to pay RM 300 on weekend? It is charged to your card on statement date like 01/12, 02/12 and etc...

Yes, at one go. Installment no TP if I'm not mistaken.

Oh at least still entitles for 1xTP. It has been three years since I last did an installment.

I do installment for RM2k at 11street on Aug weekend, didn't get full RM50 cash rebate...

I done my transaction on weekday. Cuz I don't think so will be gain CB even u done on weekends. Cuz they only deduct ur CL at full, and instalment will charged on statement date.

yup you are right... if so ngam statement date is on weekend, then you'll get CB for the installment amount... for points, get upfront everything

YA just checked I might have my instalment's CB this month. Since statement date on 28th which is Sat this month. Let see.
