depends on the timezone, usually not advisable to do these transactions at midnight.

is there a need to do at 1230am?

I am trying to utilize the AMEX weekend cashback.
It is in US EST time zone.Basically it should be done in between 12am to 7am Saturday Malaysia time (which is US Friday) as there will be someone calling over to proceed the payment.
They are not working on weekend.

Based on transaction date. For your case, it is a Friday. You get 5X TP worth up to 1.25% but surcharge 2.5%.
If the transaction date is Sat/Sun (at EST), you will get 5% weekend cashback + 5X TP but paying surcharge 2.5%.

Would like to ask,
my Amex statement date is 3rd December
and I have two transactions on 3rd Dec (posting date also 3rd Dec),
is the cash rebate counted in my Dec CB pool or Jan CB pool ?

As from my Treat Points, the two particular transaction TP counted in Dec statement

TQ.

Just saw in M2U now there is an option to increase our credit limit temporary and permanently. Anyone try that before? Any document to be submitted? Just wondering how much credit limit increase I will be eligible...how many times of our monthly salary as a rule of thumb?

Why is it impossible to pay unifi bill through maybank2u? I have been trying since yesterday and it keeps giving me "This system is currently unavailable" message!

Last weekend i clicked "increase credit limit" button in m2u n submitted last 2 months payslip. On Monday i received email and sms confirming the increase. Maybe it helped that my company banks in salary to my maybank a/c via Giro.

Kudos to Maybank for adding the feature to apply credit limit increase in m2u recently.

Refer to above post.
No definite answer of how many times monthly salary, however Maybank is a bit conservative.. They usually give 2-3x as a starter.

I paid last weekend no issue using M2U with my AmEx. I saved mine as favourites.

On another hand, should be happy it didn't go through yesterday, pay on weekends with AmEx to get 5% cash back. laugh.gif
