Is there any reason banks do not want to list out clearly in the statement which transaction getting CB and which one doesn't? To prevent dispute or complain? Such a hassle to calculate ourselves everytime or call the operator

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 14 2017, 10:28 PM) M2AmEx is one of the easiest to track cash back, no specific categories involved. Transacted on weekends = entitled for cash back Yeah but still, the statement should list all the CB which we are entitled instead of needing us to calculate ourselves...

Just saw in M2U now there is an option to increase our credit limit temporary and permanently. Anyone try that before? Any document to be submitted? Just wondering how much credit limit increase I will be eligible...how many times of our monthly salary as a rule of thumb?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Dec 9 2017, 01:40 PM) Refer to above post. No definite answer of how many times monthly salary, however Maybank is a bit conservative.. They usually give 2-3x as a starter. I paid last weekend no issue using M2U with my AmEx. I saved mine as favourites. On another hand, should be happy it didn't go through yesterday, pay on weekends with AmEx to get 5% cash back. I see. Thanks for your reply. Guess I will just ask to increase a bit for future balance transfer...

QUOTE(moe_01 @ Dec 30 2017, 01:19 AM) Need clarification from sifus here, Is it true that new application the interest rate is 18.% p.a? So what happens if I were to upgrade card from gold to platinum? Am I to be tier to 18% p.a still or maintain the 15% p.a? Reason asking i got a pre approved platinum and wandering should I activate it. So now i got 2 M2card. Yes if you worry about the interest rate then you shouldn't be using CC at all since it will just put you into a bigger debt sooner or later. Keep a habit of always pay off before statement due date.
